Remarkable how much people are willing to lose.

This guy plays huge stakes on slots. In this video, he put $120,000 into a machine. At $750.00 PER SPIN! It's madness. Nerve wracking just watching it.

Not a big enough bet? Here's a FOGGY play session -- $5,000 a spin, 50 spins! Basically, every win is a hand pay since they're over $1,200. Foggy starts with $250,000 to put in the machine: $5,000 SPINS! ✦ MUST SEE HIGH LIMIT SLOTS (OVER 15 JACKPOTS)

Not surprising to me.

Casinos don't build themselves.

A fool and his money will soon be parted.

Exactly. My best friend from high school is the CFO & Treasurer of Caesars/Harrahs, he implemented the Caesars Total Rewards player algorithms. The amount of detail they have is astonishing, the predictive modeling is overwhelming.

Part of it is these guys trying to show off on YouTube. I don't quite get losing $100K to get $10K in YouTube ad revenue... they don't think this out very well.

This dude is playing TWO $2,500 slots simultaneously (next to each other) so he's going for $5,000 a spin on both. Iit's his sugar daddy's money. One bonus round hit for $272,000! Also lost $150,000 in FOUR AND A HALF MINUTES.

In this one, one of the bonus balls that dropped was $500,000 on Dragon Cash. That jackpot round alone was over $650,000. They ended up up $300,000. On slots. Nuts.

It's called gaming, not gambling, as it is considered entertainment. Gaming is why there is no state income tax here in Nevada. I never got into it in all the years I've lived in Las Vegas. I like to tell my friends who play (and they rarely win) that they are still paying taxes, it's just a funner way for them to do it.

Just so you know, slot machines are NOT random (computer nerds need not protest that computers don't produce random numbers - we are talking at a higher level than that).

When Crown Casino opened in Melbourne, a tourist hit the big jackpot on one of the big payout machines in the FIRST WEEK. The casino wouldn't payout because the machine "wasn't supposed to" payout that soon - its obviously broken and our rules don't let us payout on broken machines.

The court case went on for years, but I can't remember how it turned out. But was incredibly disengenious.

If a machine is programmed to not payout until some minimum number of plays have occured, then those 'players' at the start are being defrauded, not 'gaming'.
Edit: Crown has been plagued with illegal pokie machine tampering from the beginning of its operations and has been fined millions and almost lost its license.
