The group named themselves after a male blue Burmese cat, which had been bred by Eleonore Vogt-Chapman and belonged to Liz Coombes, a friend.[12][13] Stevens suggested the group name themselves after its name, to which the group immediately accepted.[14] However, the cat's pedigree name was in fact Procul Harun, the Procul being the breeder's prefix,[15] but the name was taken down over the telephone, causing a misspell.[16]

eta: The loss of IE is giving my husband absolute fits at work. Comparable to the Y2K hoopla. He works for a Xerox company that deals with State Medicare and Medicaid and most of them still run IE. It's an all hands on deck scramble to get stuff to work. This is what happens when systems and programs and such never get updated because they "work fine."
:yeahthat:

Me too - on monday when i first launched my work programs in edge i also imported all the bookmarks from IE for the (internal) browser-based software we use. EVERY FREAKING DAY when I loaded Edge, those bookmarks were gone and I had to import them again.

Edge also keeps making itself the default program for files like PDFs, sometimes in the middle of the day when I haven't shut down Edge or rebooted, which I dont understand at all.

Thanx Microsoft!!!

"Diamond Girl" is my nickname for my oldest granddaughter since she was born in April which has a diamond as its birthstone. The song brings memories of dating her grandfather. :lovestruck:

Suffering from severe shyness that he managed to control through theater, the legendary French actor leaves behind a career spanning many genres.

Now that Jean-Louis Trintignant has passed away, it is difficult to pin down his legacy. He wanted to be discreet, a masked actor, giving such understated performances that he was on the verge of disappearing. He hated "stunt acts," in life as on stage or on the big screen. Speaking of his profession, Trintignant, who died at the age of 91, liked to advocate for withdrawal and humility: "To be a blank page, to start from nothing, from silence. From then on, you don't need to make a lot of noise to be heard." It was without affectation that he confessed to having missed his goal of "staying an underground actor."
