Hokay, lemme assplain what I am talking about when I use the word "responsive" in connection with the forum. I will try to oversimplify.

Responsive web design has been a thing for ten or fifteen years now. Responsive websites show different things to different size screens. It's an art form in creating websites - yeah, you don't want a logo graphic when the screen is tiny, who cares? Navigation is really important to create using responsive code, otherwise you can't use a site on your phone with just your fingers. Lots of stuff shrinks - or disappears entirely - on a tiny screen, and gets big on a huge monitor. But the content remains the same.

So on a phone, you might not see a graphic logo or other fancy design elements, but you can still read all the posts. That's the 21st century, and I'm stuck here (and loving it).

So I only need to know if the wrong logo is showing - the one that says phpBB or anything but an obvious Fogbow logo.

Operators are standing by ...

For a visual demonstration.. I have two Chrome windows open using ProSilver. For the one on the right, I reduced the width until the look changed to what most mobile users see. In short, based on the width of the browser, it uses different settings to be easier to read for a width generally expected with mobile devices. It was responsive to the screen size.

Interesting note, it does not remove the image in GraandNew, but don't waste your time on it, Foggy. It does not negatively impact the user experience.

Whatever.

I'm pretty sure I once cited an article about how Franklin Graham was getting paid lots of money from non-profits, including the one which is responding to North Carolina's floods, so I was going to look for it. I think it was in the Former Fogbow.

I have no clue. I looked at the files, they're all still there. I looked at the database, nothing missing, nothing has changed. But I'm getting a blank page when I visit.

So I submitted a ticket to the hosting company to get them on it. I'll keep ya up to date on any progress I'm able to make. I kind of doubt it was hacked, because why didn't the hacker leave a message of some sort? But I will keep working on it. I have backups now.

A table crashed, and luckily I was trying to get on the forum just about that time. I know what to do to fix, but it's still scary, because why did it crash? That's what my weekly maintenance is supposed to prevent, but I haven't done preventive maintenance since before surgery. Next time I'm up at 4:30 or 5, which is surprisingly often these days, and if I'm not woozy from the pills, which I am surprisingly often also, I'll do a full forum preventive maintenance. Until then I'll just have to keep a sharp eye on things.

I apologize, I am still fighting medical issues and will try to check in more often.

I'll do a full forum maintenance program this week in the early a.m.

Foggy, I think everybody will consider concentrating on your own maintenance to be most important. Take care.
