I'm listening to Rick Wilson's Lincoln Project video posted today. He says he heard this morning that Trump is calling around asking whether he should replace Vance with a woman. Perhaps Nikki Haley.

I'm kinda diggen the dolphin horse blankets on the divan. They wouldn't work at my house, but the concept of a fitted quilt is something to consider. Definitely neater than the mismatched throw blankets we're using currently. Our War on Pet Hair continues.

I read an article saying it would be difficult for a presidential nominee to force a vice presidential nominee off the ballot.

But it is moot because any unliked nominee would just resign/decline the nomination.

I was thinking about what might happen if JD was forced to give up the nomination in the coming weeks. Some states would not be able to take him off the ballot because it would be past the deadline. Other states could have a vacancy and because they have to fill it almost immediately, I could see several different candidates scramble and we wind up with 3 or 4 different tickets, depending on the state. If Trump were to win, he could possibly end up with the Democratic VP candidate as his VP, the actual election for VP happening at the Electoral College or the Senate.
