Who will it be? Doorknob JD Vance who is shortlisted stated when asked what his greatest accomplishment in the Senate was, that it was funding for the Great Lakes...which was part of the infrastructure bill he voted against. (video)

My guess is Burgum. Suzy Wiles and Chris LaCivita are probably pushing for Vance, but I think Donald is too scared of him stealing the spotlight.

Mightily struggling for a way to make tfg immune but Biden not.
Vance says presidents must have immunity, though possibly not Biden
“That would be the responsibility of the Attorney General,” the Ohio senator said.

Sen. J.D. Vance said Sunday a president must have immunity from prosecution for his actions in office while also saying that it would be up to a future “Attorney General” to determine whether to prosecute President Joe Biden for unspecified criminal activity.

When asked by “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan as to whether the Justice Department of a possible next Trump administration might charge Biden, Vance (R-Ohio) said: “First of all, that would be the responsibility of the Attorney General, Margaret. But Donald Trump did not say that he’s trying to throw his political opponent in jail.”

In response to a subsequent Biden prosecution question by CBS’ Brennan, Vance said: “I want people who commit crimes to face the appropriate response in law,” before adding: “The problem that I have Margaret is not with which Democrats should prosecute which Republican and vice versa; it’s let’s get out of the prosecuting of people based on their politics.”

The Supreme Court is expected to rule Monday in Trump v. United States on a claim by Trump that presidents are immune from prosecution for what they do or have done in office. “I’m very confident,” Vance said Sunday, “that the fundamental principle here is the President’s got to be able to do his job in the same way that police officers, judges, prosecutors, enjoy some immunity, that principle has to apply to the president too.”

I am undecided.
  • I am confident it won't be a black man, so not Scott, Donalds, or Carson.
  • I'm quite sure it won't be Vivek. 1) He isn't MAGAt 2) He's not subservient 3) He's Indian, the racists would freak out 4) He's a real billionaire who's not going to prison and would outshine the quadfectee.
  • I'm pretty sure he won't nominate a woman, because what if he needs to denigrate and degrade her later? So not Elise and certainly not Empty Gee. He can't even pretend to respect either of them.
  • I'm almost certain it won't be Rubio, who told Donald he has a small dick.
  • I'm almost certain it won't be Vance - he wrote a book once, so he has way more accomplishments than the quadfectee. An elected senator is always going to be a deal killer.
  • And I can't imagine it being Burgum, who is a hole in the space-time continuum whatever room he occupies. Actually, it might be Burgum, I can see Trump doing what he did with Pence, didn't even introduce him and spent 45 minutes talking about himself. Yeah, he could do that again. Except does Burgum have perfect white hair? :confuzzled:

I'm lonely because no one is choosing Scott with me. He's such a sycophant ass kisser I imagine he's a shoe in.

I note that if it's Burgum, we need to have 'Turnip/Bunkum' stickers at the ready.

As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

Pretty sure the turnip will pick whomever is likely to offer the best electoral advantage. If elected he’ll just sideline them one way or another.

Actually, I don't think that's how he thinks at all. A wiser politician would do that, but what about the quadfectee is wise?

I think he chose Pence only partly because of the Christian stuff and what electoral help he gave, but mostly because Pence was obsequious and servile. That would indicate that Scott or Donalds, the two most obsequious, might be the pick, but they're black. Trump doesn't want to share the presidency with a black man, that's a betrayal of everything he stands for.

That's why I picked Ben Carson. He's not the most obsequious or servile, but he's the most blend-in-to-the-wallpaper, so he wouldn't take attention from TFG's spotlight as he sleeps through his vice presidency. Burgum, Vance, Gaetz, Rubio, MTG, all of them would require Trump to constantly be watching his back.

Need to ask Manafort; he's the one who picked Pence.

Remember, in 2015 his plane "broke down" in Indiana and trump had to spend the night. They had him spend that time with pence.

OTOH, he's still in Apprentice mode. I'm not sure he'll want a politician. He picked some of his staff from watching Fox, so I think it might be some pundit who's on tv a lot. That's important to him. Not sure how much influence his campaign folks have over him - he doesn't like to hear no. It'll take someone who can figure out how to make him think that the handlers' choice was really his own idea.

Twitter is abuzz that tfg has chosen Gen. Mike Flynn for his running mate, but I haven't seen anything verifiable. Probably bullshit.

Flynn just posted this, even less likely. These people are dreaming.

Looks like it was a pump and dump. I hope he faces some consequences for filing fake stuff with the FEC. If it was him. Could be a rando taking credit I guess.
