I'm not a huge fan of <Rush Limbaugh voice> The Reverend Al Sharpton <just kidding> but this is a good 'splainer. Because tfg has been laying the bullshit on the Black people pretty thick.
Christopher Webb @cwebbonline wrote: This is for Black folks who have people in their lives who might be considering a vote for Trump or not voting at all. Share this with them.

@TheRevAl absolutely destroys the ‘what has Biden done?’ or ‘Trump is better for me’ argument.

Vote for our self-interests and our survival. Both are under threat if Trump wins!

Without Presidential Immunity, a President of the United States literally could not function! It should be a STRONG IMMUNITY, where proper decisions can be made, where our Country can be POWERFUL and THRIVE, and where Opponents cannot hold up and extort a Future President for Political Gain. It is a BIG decision, an important decision, a decision which can affect the Success or Failure of our Country for decades to come. We want a GREAT Country, not a weak, withering, and ineffective one. STRONG PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY IS A MUST!
Dear Donald, beware that Biden is still POTUS. If he gets the immunity you pray for he may just f**k around with you and there is nothing you can do later, cause immunity. Shireley he will find some trump'ed up charges of federal civil rights violations you made, getting you into handcuffs and stored away (Gitmo or your Golden Tower, that's the question). With much luck Putin will use you as bargaining chip in exchange for some poor American surviving the Gulag.

(*) I wonder how many volonteers in the Secret Service will hold up their hands to protect him in Gitmo

I'm sure SCOTUS will find some way to fuck up the immunity so it will apply to tfg but not Biden. Or not even, the delay has already served its purpose.

If it wasn't clear already, trump has put a target on the back of every judge and prosecutor who did their job in prosecuting the orange shit criminal. And if he's reelected, there's not a damn thing we can do to him.

Nice job 2/3 of SCOTUS. Eat shit and die.

I still say the world, especially this country, will be 1000x better off if he buys the farm with a massive heart attack. He ain't going to jail so forget that pipe dream.

I think the lesson of the two recent SCOTUS rulings is: we didn't realize how deeply embedded this man's hooks were in this country. At least, I didn't. I never the Supreme Court would be so nakedly partisan to help a single man like this, and with such a ludicrous claim. They'd be partisan for a cause, to be sure, but not one person. This is stuff that would happen to General Aladeen.

Today is the day I start making serious inquiries about nomad life, and selling my home.

It's not "this man." Its the whole support network around him who regard him as an easy fool to hide their own malfeasance behind.

He couldn't make the Media owners tell their commentators to say that Biden had a terrible depoate night and that he needs tio step down. in the face of massive evidence that the actual public does not care and indeed the rise in Bidens numbers that was going on for a month before the debate has only increased. But the media Bosses, they can tell their commentators to toe the message or you are out on your ear.

He's just the face and enabler of something that's been going on for decades. A tool. What shocks me (but shouldn't; see Nazi Germany) is how easily veterans and others are willing to toss the Constitution and embrace dictatorship (as long as it's their dictator). Real men wear diapers indeed.

Four things always amaze me about people:
(1) how kind and generous some people are
(2) how horrible and vindictive some people are
(3) how difficult it is to tell whether an unfamiliar person is in (1) or (2) and how easy it is to be wrong
(4) how some people manage to be in both (1) and (2), even simultaneously

People. They're complicated, they're difficult, they're both the problem and the solution. But most often the problem.

Behind the Curtain: Trump's imperial presidency in waiting

Former President Trump, if re-elected, plans to immediately test the boundaries of presidential and governing power, knowing the restraints of Congress and the courts are dramatically looser than during his first term, his advisers tell us.

Why it matters: It's not just the Supreme Court ruling on Monday that presidents enjoy substantial legal immunity for actions in office. Trump would come to office with a Cabinet and staff pre-vetted for loyalty, and a fully compliant Republican coalition in Congress — devoid of critics in positions of real power.

• That's a big reason many Democrats worry President Biden is making one of the biggest gambles in U.S. history by staying in the race amid acute concerns about his age.

The big picture: Trump promises an unabashedly imperial presidency — one that would turn the Justice Department against critics, deport millions of people in the U.S. illegally, slap 10% tariffs on thousands of products, and fire perhaps tens of thousands of government staff deemed insufficiently loyal.

• He'd stretch the powers of the presidency in ways not seen in our lifetime. He says this consistently and clearly — so it's not conjecture.

You might like this or loathe this. But it's coming, fast and furious, if he's elected.

• Thanks to Monday's Supreme Court ruling, Trump could pursue his plans without fear of punishment or restraint.

What to watch: To hear Trump and his allies tell it, this is how early 2025 would unfold if he wins:

1. A re-elected Trump would quickly set up vast camps and deport millions of people in the U.S. illegally. He could invoke the Insurrection Act and use troops to lock down the southern border.

2. In Washington, Trump would move to fire potentially tens of thousands of civil servants using a controversial interpretation of law and procedure. He'd replace many of them with pre-vetted loyalists.

3. He'd centralize power over the Justice Department, historically an independent check on presidential power. He plans to nominate a trusted loyalist for attorney general, and has threatened to target and even imprison critics. He could demand the federal cases against him cease immediately.

4. Many of the Jan. 6 convicts could be pardoned — a promise Trump has made at campaign rallies, where he hails them as patriots, not criminals. Investigations of the Bidens would begin.

5. Trump says he'd slap 10% tariffs on most imported goods, igniting a possible trade war and risking short-term inflation. He argues this would give him leverage to create better trade terms to benefit consumers.

6. Conversation would intensify about when Justices Clarence Thomas, 76, and Sam Alito, 74, would retire.

Of course the problem they have is Doltus himself. he will walk in, be completly aware of how inept he is, and when the Pick of "really loyal" people start implementing their policies he will think that means they are secretly undermining him and showing how incompetent they are. So he will countermand them, start micromanaging everyone and start pulling new policies out of his ass, then see how stupid they are. So he will think people are plotting against him, start stupid loyalty tests that everyone will fail so he will start firing everyone and bringing in new people who will also fail their loyalty tests and will infuriate Turnip if they do anything...

You know, just like last time.

You cant control a malignant Narcissist. The voice in his head calling him a loser is the only thing that controls him. The ineptness of the Big guy is the biggest ally you have.

But it does not matter, because he isn't going to fukken win. You will have to be wary of him trying violence when he does lose.

No, the violence will be well prior to the election results being known. Last time, they engaged in various protests at vote tabulation facilities, but otherwise remained relatively peaceful about it. This time, they will breach those facilities, compromise security of the tabulation, and thus provide grounds for calling the results into question.

They're not going to wait around for January 6.

We're going to have good old-fashioned election violence.
