Sentencing is set for July 11, not June. I think the pre-sentencing reports or briefs or whatever the Judge called them, are due on June 10 (defense) and reply from the prosecution by June 24. The dates may be a bit off but there are 2 weeks between the responses.

There were several 'color comments' about people inside the courtroom. trump sat unmoving with his chin on his chest for the entire reading of the verdicts. One comment about Eric tightening his mouth and making a face. Prosecutors simply packed up their stuff with no show of emotion.

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Judge admonished people in the courtroom to avoid any displays of emotion during the verdict.

The reports have been saying for weeks that his team was expecting a guilty verdict.His lawyers have alluded to it several times, too. We get tired of hearing the same words every time he opens his mouth...rigged, unconstitutional, witch hunt, interference...but that is an effective plan to convince people he couldn't win ( or lose) fair and square. He was priming the pump of the cult crazies to respond in the way he wants them to.

As much as I enjoyed the clip in the sports bar, I'm past the point of celebration already. The rule of law is still under direct attack by the former president and current convicted felon, abetted by the entire apparatus of the Republican Party.

We ain't out from under yet, my peeps. We have a ways to go before November 5th.
