I know that stadium is in Atlanta but that picture and your story reminds me of my dad.
When I turned 16 I asked him to buy me a car. He said, I’ll buy you a car when they start playing night games at Wrigley. It became a little gag between him and me. I called him in 1988, when I was 29, and was like, OK, Dad, it doesn’t have to be expensive, but it has to be new, and preferably red. He died unexpectedly later that year. But any discussion of the Cubs makes me smile.

I have in my possession a commemorative beer cup from the first night game at Wrigley. It says "Cubs Fan, Bud Man" with a picture of Harry Caray cheering, plus the date.
My roommate at the time was visiting family in Chicago that week & they got tickets. He knew I was a Cubbies fan, so he brought it back for me.

While I lived in SW Michigan at the time, I was traveling with a group to a conference in Colorado. We spent the night at a house in Chicago the night of the first night game. Damn, that was some rain.

Nice! All of it.

Took a few pictures on the walk last night. Some with dawg! Dawg chased the bunnies, but not fast enough to even think about catching them. And they were moving slow. Methinks she was a bit frightened of them.
