Couldn’t leave this one out:

If you can't lie to yourself, who can you lie to?

Yep. Adapted by John Jacob Niles in the 1930's.

The arrangement in the video is by their director.

This is Tim Simpson, a very funny guy who is a friend and a member of my ukulele clubs here in Las Vegas. He was a professional juggler at Disneyland and a professional clown with Ringling Brothers circus. Besides the ukulele, he plays accordion, harmonica, tire pump, washboard, etc. He also draws cartoons. Here's a few of his 12 Days of Christmas videos.

During Christmas music prep, some silliness happens (i.e. the last note, or the accidental bumping into the bench).

This year's Christmas Day Organ Recital from the Washington National Cathedral takes on a new significance. It was the last public performance of the Cathedral organ, whose original components were installed in the 1930s (though designed for what was the a much smaller building). Starting Sunday, my parish will have something in common with the Cathedral. We will both be using digital organs, although I expect theirs is a bit larger and nicer than what I am playing, in terms of components and stops.

Besides a bunch of things not working and other components working only sometimes, they have had issues with a tangle of wiring, leading to times when the organ was suddenly not working the day before a major funeral, such as former President George HW Bush's, because somebody setting up a camera accidentally bumped something and disconnected part of the organ's wiring.

This is their page on the organ replacement project, which will take four years (instruments that massive are not built in a day).
