Tesla Only Has About 70 Model 3s & Ys Left for Sale in US in 2022 as Purchase Discounts Have Had Super Effect
Demand for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles is through the roof in the US after the company announced a purchase discount. At the moment, Tesla only has about 70 vehicles left for sale in the US in 2022 as the purchase discounts have had a super effect.
Tesla Model 3 and Model Y available for purchase in the US in 2022 are almost out of stock. According to data from Tesla's global inventory search, ev-cpo, posted by @ChrisDungeon/Twitter, the company only has 72 vehicles left (at the time of writing). Currently, only nine Model 3 and 63 Model Y are available for purchase in the US. It looks like all available cars will be sold out this year, which will have a great positive effect on the company.

Fascinating to know how Elon Musk will need to add more of his own funds to compensate his creditors, by selling much more of his poorly performing stock

I just fond this fascinating -

I was gonna sell some March '23 puts at $75 for around $4.00, thinking that a $35 drop in market price (30%) would be quite unlikely to transpire in less than 85 days. But my advisor talked me out of it. He thinks that by the time they release fourth quarter earnings and annual earnings that the price could plummet below $75. And if that happens, no way would I let them exercise or want to buy to close.
We'll see if his crystal ball is right!

Tesla stock marks lowest close in years as investors worry about Musk’s focus Experts blame Elon Musk’s management style at Twitter for the electric carmaker’s financial problems

Tesla shares fell on Tuesday to their lowest in more than two years, marking the company’s worst day in eight months, as Elon Musk’s electric carmaker confronts a rocky financial period.
The company’s stock has lost more than half its value since the start of October. Investors worry that Twitter is taking much of Musk’s time, now that he is the social network’s owner and CEO.
His tenure as head of the platform has been marked by chaos as he implements – and often reverses – a host of new policies. Musk recently said he would find a new CEO to replace him after most polled Twitter users voted for him to step down. Experts say his erratic behavior has undermined confidence in Tesla, with shares down 73% from November 2021.
Tuesday’s loss, which saw Tesla shares drop 11.4%, also followed a Reuters report that the company was planning to run a reduced production schedule in January at its Shanghai plant. That news sparked worries of a drop in demand in the world’s biggest car market, amid a rising number of Covid-19 infections in China.
“There’s no question there are demand fears,” Great Hill Capital chairman Thomas Hayes said, citing a delivery forecast cut from Chinese rival Nio in the key market.

Historically, this has been a major part of Musk's appeal. He has a lot of fans in the software community, people who really like believing that because they are 'logical software people', they are smarter than experts in other fields, so his 'I agree with you against these non programmers!' really resonated with them. So with any luck, doing it to a field they DO understand will unluster him a bit.
Purportedly Elon's email to Tesla Employees (Dec 28, 2022):

I'm sure I recall being on an Airbus of some type in Europe at least fifteen years ago and the pilot announcing after landing that it had been fully automatic.
CAT3 landing is a bad weather solution where visibility is near zero. "Seldom" sound like it never happens, but it is a common procedure where weather conditions are often not favourable (eg fog). Three conditions must be met together: the airport and the specific runway, the aircraft and the pilots (both) need to be certified for the procedure. It's only the last phase that is automatic until full touchdown, the pilots must together establish that they will use the procedure and configure the flight computer accordingly. It's not like the airplane flies autonomous and then decides to land. IIRC the airport has also to give formal approval for that kind of approach.
