I predict: guilty on murder 2.

We were just now mentioning the OJ verdict too.

I so hope you are right. I agree that it's almost unthinkable that they would not find guilty on murder 2. I hope they did not buy into the anti science "we can't know what happened". The prosecution witnesses were impeccably credentialed and they were highly credible, IMO.

I don't care what the verdict is as long as he gets at least 20 years.

It's hard for me to believe that some of those jury members would have agreed to acquit. Maybe after two or three weeks of banging heads, but not after less than two full days. So, I am hopeful. Cautiously hopeful.

I sure hope you're right. My stomach is in knots right now. Many places in the neighborhood are boarded up waiting on the verdict. It feels like the whole city is holding its breath.

Although I know statistically the odds of a quick verdict are in favor of conviction, I'm still on the edge of my seat.

I will lose my shit if Chauvin is acquitted on all charges. I want him sentenced to 2nd degree murder.

Chauvin will go into custody after the verdict assuming he's not acquitted on all counts?

I'm guessing they're going to convict. The defense strategy was playing for a hung jury, not an acquittal.
