SIL is now home but is scheduled for a treadmill stress test tomorrow.

Doctors seem divided. The cardiologists are looking at his heart. The gastroenterologists are looking at his esophagus and hiatal hernia.

Neither possibility seems to be life threatening. :biggrin:

We have North Fork commitments until mid October and had been thinking of driving back to Texoma the second week of November but now we may drive back the last week in October.

When my doctor told me to eat more red meat and use more salt back in my 30's, my heart diseased dad was envious. He wanted to go to my doctor. I said, "Okay, Dad, but she's an Ob/gyn." He didn't care as long as he got the same advice.

Yes, he is doing well. Still getting some tests. Pain not due to heart problems. :thumbsup:

Texoma health update.

SIL got offical confirmation yesterday that his heart is OK. :biggrin:

Attention now turning to his hiatal hernia.

Meanwhile my hiatal hernia may be responsible for what they thought was a 5 cm mass in my right lung. Didn't even know I had an hiatal hernia before this. Apparently most people with hiatal hernias experience no pain so they don't know they have them until a scan reveals them when they get scanned for something else in old age.
