It's a reference to Biden stuttering during a speech where he tried to say "prosecuted" and it came out "Proste-" and then he changed it to "being sued," to get it out. Not a big deal at all once you understand the context.

I worked with a guy in the '70s who had been a tank commander in Nam. Obviously his stutter was trauma induced because there was no way he could have entered the service with it. To say he stuttered was a gross understatement. I have never seen anyone with a speech impediment that could approach within an order of magnitude of what he endured. It would take him up to 2 minutes to get a 10 word sentence out. Except when he was very angry then his swearing and berating was pure poetry without a single glitch. He worked in a technical field and everyday was a struggle to communicate. Anyone who would denigrate or make fun of such a man is a piece of shit. IMHO

Denver judge on Wednesday evening rejected an effort to end state Sen. Don Coram’s GOP primary bid against U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert.

Denver District Court Judge Alex C. Myers ruled that the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office did not inappropriately place Coram, a Montrose Republican, on the June 28 primary ballot.

A lawsuit filed by a group that includes a man who has tried to discredit Coram and another who has donated to Boebert’s campaign alleged that 390 of the 1,568 petition signatures submitted by Coram and accepted by the Secretary of State’s Office were flawed. If the judge agreed, Coram would have fallen below the 1,500-signature threshold he needed to meet to make the primary ballot.

But Myers, in a 14-page ruling, found that only 19 of the signatures accepted by the Secretary of State’s Office should have been rejected, not enough to disqualify Coram from the primary.

The conservatives who built their political brand on challenging GOP leaders are starting to struggle with problems of their own.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert look from the outside like MAGA twins, both loathed by Democrats for their incendiary right-wing rhetoric. But inside the House GOP, they’re not quite buddy-buddy.

Privately, Republicans say Boebert (R-Colo.) — who’s seen as more of a party team player than Greene — detests being tied to her Georgia colleague. And when the House Freedom Caucus board of directors gathered last month at its usual spot a few blocks from the Capitol, the two tangled over Greene’s appearance at a February event organized by a known white nationalist.

Their confrontation grew so heated that at least one onlooker feared the Greene-Boebert back-and-forth might escalate beyond the verbal cage match had another board member not stepped in to de-escalate, according to a GOP lawmaker who was granted anonymity to describe what happened. The incident was confirmed by three people connected to the Freedom Caucus, whose members largely avoided public criticism of Greene and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) at the time and focused their discontent on the event organizer, Nick Fuentes.

The run-in between Greene and Boebert is a microcosm of a bigger identity crisis that’s starting to take hold within the Freedom Caucus. A group founded with right-leaning policy ambition that later became a Donald Trump defense team is starting to split in important ways, from how to respond to this week’s Kevin McCarthy tapes to — more fundamentally — whether to reorient itself back to its limited-government roots.

Somehow the image of a gun belt slung about Bobo's waist does not conjure up an image of a girlygirl. The images of her that I see online show her mostly in T-shirts and jeans sporting a baseball cap or in totally appropriate attire when in Congress.

My wife was a girly girl in her young and keen days. She liked to adorn her hair with a ribbon or a comb, perhaps framing her face with strands of hair on either side if she wore it up. She wore polka-dot dresses. She wore sundresses. She liked pink and other pastels. She liked bangles on her wrist. She liked dangly earrings from her lobes. She always painted her finger and toenails.

After a busy day shootin' and hollerin' followed by a literal romp in the hay up in the loft, Bobo probably cleans up real good. Empty Gee, not so much.

By girly I suppose I might mean body conscious. Bobo pays attention to the fit of her clothes, wears 6” stilettos with jeans and dresses, and generally acts like a girl. I bet she shopped with friends a lot before. She flips her hair when nervous and has changed hair styles twice I think recently, and wears makeup properly. She has good skin.

Marjie… gets dressed in the morning. Her clothes are basic and don’t fit well - from Marshalls maybe? - and I don’t think she cares about shopping. For all she’s supposed to be so CrossFit, she doesn’t look healthy. Her complexion is muddy. She looks like she has an adversarial relationship with makeup.

Bobo is going through the motions to look like a regular congress person, doing the local photo ops at the senior centers, etc. She tries to compartmentalize the loony stuff to where only certain audiences see it. Marge is all loony all the time.

I think Bobo is gonna have a much tougher campaign than Marge.
