Ron Watkins [CodeMonkeyZ] - The most Q of the Q-Anons

#1

Post by raison de arizona »

Some say he and his father were Q, and there is a lot of evidence to support that. Which is not why I started this thread. Ron Watkins has jumped from some obscure Q figurehead into the mainstream with his appearances at the AZ Audit and beyond. His next step? He's running for Congress.
QAnon’s Ron Watkins Says He’s Running For Congress
Watkins announcing he will run for Congress from Arizona is yet further evidence of how far the conspiracy theory-based movement has become intertwined with the Republican Party.

Q in ‘22?

Ron Watkins, a prominent figure in the QAnon movement who many believe is Q himself, has filed paperwork and announced Thursday night that he plans to run for Congress from Arizona.

If he goes through with it, Watkins would be by far the most prominent QAnon figure to run for office in the U.S., further evidence of how much the conspiracy theory-based movement has become intertwined with the modern Republican Party.

In a video posted on his Telegram channel Watkins said he was inspired to run for office after recently hearing a sermon from Pastor Jeff Durbin at Apologia Church in Mesa, Arizona. Durbin is a right-wing minister who has said he wants to execute women who have abortions.
:snippity:
Watkins posted his video outside the office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, which he has visited on three previous occasions over the course of the last week trying—and failing— to secure a meeting with the official.

Could he win in district 1? I dunno. Wendy Rogers couldn't. But we're redistricting here right now and I'm not sure how things are going to end up. Maybe they'll draw a crazy friendly district over there.

Thanks for starting this. I posted this news in the January 6 Assault thread, but didn't think it was really the right place.

I'm certain Watkins tried to schedule an appointment with Nunchucks by phone multiple times. That didn't work. Now he showed up at Nunchucks' office three times in one week. Still no meeting.

It's almost like Nunchucks doesn't doesn't want to meet Watkins.

There's no upside to him meeting with Watkins, it's all downside.
Ron Watkins, running for Congress in Arizona, denies being Q, claims family ties to state

Ron Watkins claimed generational ties to Arizona and again denied being the author of the Q writings that started the global QAnon phenomenon during an interview with The Arizona Republic on Friday about his announced run for Congress.

Watkins spoke about at least one of his legislative priorities. He said he was drafting a bill that, if it were enacted, would have ensured more coverage of stories about a supposed stolen laptop belonging to President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

Watkins, who earlier this year was living in Japan, said that he spent some of his childhood in Yuma, a southern Arizona city near the Mexico border, though he was fuzzy on what years those were.

But Watkins said he was running as a Republican for Congress in northern Arizona against Democratic Rep. Tom O’Halleran because he considered him “low-hanging fruit” compared to the state’s other Democrats.

“He’s in a very competitive district,” Watkins said during the phone interview. “I have a strong chance to win out there.”

Watkins said that he “had an address” in Sedona, but was staying in the Phoenix area. He said he planned to open a campaign headquarters in Flagstaff. He said he planned to file paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission by Monday, allowing him to raise money — something Watkins had not done as of Thursday night when he announced his run. Campaign events, he said, would soon follow.

The Daily Agenda: The Q man runs
:snippity:
Just when you thought Arizona politics can’t get weirder, Q, AKA CodeMonkeyZ, AKA Ron Watkins is actually running for Congress in the northeastern Arizona district currently represented by Tom O’Halleran.

In a streamed video he shot outside the AG’s Office, Watkins congratulated Attorney General Mark Brnovich for investigating election fraud and declared that he’s going to fix these fraudulent elections “from the inside of the machine.”

Watkins cleverly dubbed O’Halleran “Tom O’Hooligan,” claimed he’s not fit to represent “anyone anywhere” (the irony!) and bizarrely declared O’Halleran the dirtiest Democrat of them all (that’s probably the first time O’Halleran has been declared the most anything).
:snippity:
He also seemed wholly unaware of redistricting — declaring that he’s attempting to challenge O’Halleran because he’s “low-hanging fruit” in his competitive district, which, of course, won’t exist by the next election.
“He’s in a very competitive district,” Watkins told the Republic. “I have a strong chance to win out there.”
Arizona may be weird as hell, but Watkins does not have any chance of winning, so we’ll try to leave his name out of our newsletter from here on out, if at all possible.

FWIW, we also tried to get in touch with Watkins, but a man named Tony from New Jersey who is working for the campaign called us Saturday and said he would need to vet us before putting us in touch with Watkins since there are a lot of operatives posing as local reporters.

Tony wouldn’t say who in the local press corps is an operative, and it wasn’t clear who they’re allegedly operating for, but we assume with this item we’ll be put squarely on the operative list.

It is interesting that Watkins is coming out from behind the keyboard to try and get money and power in the real world. maybe his font of money is drying up, or he thinks the social media scene is played out. Or he is just arrogant enough to think he can get real power not the fake power.

Our redistricting maps are still up in the air, but a lot of the ones I've seen are painting the district he's looking at into a little (well, big in terms of land) red fiefdom. I would normally discount someone like Watkins, but there is a lot of crazy up there so  ? Also, too, that may end up being Gosar's district. It will be interesting what happens once the lines are redrawn.

When nunchucks are such a joke, even Q is laughing at you...

I hope that video of Brnovich gets clipped and put in opposition campaign ads.

Is it usual to talk about 2 free drinks when you’re asking the mark to plunk down $750?

Wiebe is a disgrunted "whistleblower" (he and Klayman attempt to sue for Wiebe's blowing, but it predictably went nowhere) who later was consulted by Arpaio to rat out Dennis Montgomery as the obvious fraudster that he was.

All well and good until Montgomery in 2020-2021 got a lot of juice from the "The Big Lie" crowd. "Suddenly" Wiebe reassessed Montgomery's credibility and decided perhaps Montgomery was right all along.

In other words, Wiebe caught the nut bug, wanted on the grift train, or both. So now Wiebe's stumping for Q.

MAYBE ARPAIO WAS CORRECT ABOUT OBAMA ALL ALONG! :smoking:

* If you are paying $750 a plate, exactly no drinks are "free."
