Texoma health update.
SIL got offical confirmation yesterday that his heart is OK.
Glad to hear it!!
Meanwhile my hiatal hernia may be responsible for what they thought was a 5 cm mass in my right lung. Didn't even know I had an hiatal hernia before this. Apparently most people with hiatal hernias experience no pain so they don't know they have them until a scan reveals them when they get scanned for something else in old age.
Oh my... Good luck!

When Hubby invited me to the Razorbacks' Homecoming, mums were a big thing. They were huge flowers - one to a pin corsage or to a wrist corsage.
Hubby was broke as it was his first semester not working cuz his parents were able to pay for him and his brother to attend college. He was a TA, but that didn't pay much. So he asked whether I wanted a mum or a six pack. Easy answer. I thought then that the mums were ugly! Or as Sherlock Holmes would say "outre".
Looking back, I realize he was broke also cuz he was dating another woman at the time. You know like the Tooth Mangler's three fiancees in M.A.S.H.?
Which brings me to another story, but I'll save that for another time....

Our Texoma home will get almost as cold as the North Fork tonight.
However tomorrow it will get up to 85F there but only 61F here.

Not our teacher daughter's district.
Two Wichita Falls ISD elementary schools to be shut down
Two unnamed elementary schools in the Wichita Falls ISD will be shut down next year in an effort to consolidate campuses.
The news from the WFISD follows the loss of 800 students in the district and a deficit in the millions.
Superintendent Dr. Donny Lee said they plan to keep every staff member impacted by the consolidation. He said teachers have not received a pay raise in several years and now it’s time, so that’s a goal they are working toward.
More on the plan, the schools involved and exactly how it will impact students and staff is expected to be released later this week.
The loss of 800 students is related to Covid and immigration issues.

The big mall in our previous TX city has been completely knocked down. A friend sent us video of the now flat landscape.
That mall was a frequent destination for us during the over 30 years we lived there. Had all the big stores JC Penney, Sears, Wards, Macy's, Dillards, Foley's, Mervyn's, etc. Restaurants, a food court, book stores, shoe stores and more.
It was where we got our girls photos taken with Santa. Where we went to the movies. Sigh.
