Without looking it up, it was, I think, 3 or 4 involved in this, including one fellow in a chair. If I'm reading various stories correctly, or didn't just dream it up last night, somebody is pleading guilty and will cooperate. I think someone else pleaded not guilty and has an upcoming trial.

The guy in the wheelchair’s name is Brian Kolfage. He pled guilty in federal court in April.

Edit: Also, two other guys - one (Badolato) pled guilty the same time as Kolfage; don’t know the fate of the third (Shea).
Kolfage, Badolato and Shea were not given clemency. Badolato also pleaded guilty on Thursday to wire fraud and faces up to 4¼ years in prison. Kolfage and Badolato are expected to be sentenced in September. They were allowed to remain free on bail after Thursday’s proceeding.

Shea went to trial, which ended in a hung jury. 11 to 1 guilty with a MAGA juror the lone holdout. I believe DA is planning a retrial.

NY AG James @NewYorkStateAG wrote: After an investigation by my office and @ManhattanDA, Steve Bannon has been indicted for stealing more than $15 million from thousands of Americans for his sham effort to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

No matter how powerful you are, no one is above the law.

Steve Bannon and “We Build the Wall” took advantage of Americans to line their own pockets and then laundered the money to further hide this scheme.

They lied to Americans and stole their hard-earned money.

In New York, we have zero tolerance for corruption or abuses of power.

There cannot be one set of rules for everyday people and another for the powerful — we all must play by the same rules and obey the law.

It might get lost on Mr Populist there that he is in fact worth $48 million so I'm pretty sure whatever system he thinks is rigged against him sure did him pretty good until he got caught.

OMG I just saw the Full Bannon Perp Walk on MSNBC. His rant outside the building, in handcuffs, with a New York woman shouting Stop hurting America you sleazy greasy grifter, was just classic.

Also, just explained that Bannon would serve a NY sentence in Riker's Island. Woo Woo.

Conservative talk radio this morning was discussing this. Their thrust was that the DOJ was going after Bannon for political reasons. Never-mind that this wasn't the DOJ. But they played audio from MSNBC where the hosts said that Bannon was "grifting" and got caught and they had him "dead to rights." The RWNJ radio host took umbrage. The argument was that grifting is not illegal, and if it was, then Nancy Pelosi should be in jail because she is always soliciting funds for Democrats.
