Why would your neighbors not call 911?
I don't know! I asked if anyone had called, and no one had! Idiots. They seemed to be worried about making the call.

If the dispatcher says "Yes, OK, we already have that call thank you" that's not the end of the world.

I have had that happen a few times when I've come upon an accident on the road.
But many more times I heard "ok, we don't have that, I need more information"

(back in the day, I was often on roads in the middle of nowhere in the early morning hours)

Because Mocha's photo for my avartar was questioned, here's a different photo. He's settling on the bed for the night. He gathered some toys, including my blue purse for some reason. (He doesn't chew on my things.)

I've been reading about grooming bc he sheds A LOT. Some pomski websites are warning about shaving their coats. They have an undercoat of long silky hairs that if cut, those hairs do not grow back properly. It results in a rougher coat. But even worse, when you shave a pomski/pomsky, you take away their ability to self-regulate their temperature.

I had no idea what I was getting into

Anyway... some websites claim that pomskis bark a lot. Not true for us. I've heard him bark maybe 3 times when someone comes near my unit. He does it to alert me so he can play with visitors, not to bark at people.

Adorable, beautiful. Thank you. 💙💙💙

Have you tried the Furminator? It’s for undercoat dedhedding and works amazingly well. On cats, too.

I haven't been keeping up with the forum for a week, but I went home a few days ago from the hospital. I had trouble with walking and speaking. ER trip late one night. Seemed like a stroke, but days later it was caused by covid damage to my aorta. Once my blood pressure dropped, I felt much better. Still weak, but otherwise good. An operation is in my future.

Mocha went to work with my son while I was away. Apparently, the office loved him, and the senator said he was welcomed any time.

But I'm back this week, and he's curled up next to me. My son has moved in with me for a month, which is nice. Mostly he works from home, so that works. A nurse checks in with me.

Thinking about retirement....

Interesting week. My son was told that he had to live with me or I'd be sent to a nursing home. I still can't find the person who said that to him. We met with the lead doctor today, and we still don't know who said that to him. But anyway, I'm fine, and son returns to Senate work tomorrow. The office is happy that he'll be back and they asked for Mocha to come to the office.
