That cartoon has become a family thing for us. When the kids were smaller and they obviously weren't listening we'd just change to 'ginger, ginger, ginger' and half the time they didn't even notice. Now the whole family uses it in place of blah, blah, blah. It still makes me laugh.

Oh, this should be good. Another loss for the GOP and IMPOTUS.

CNN: Roberts Sides with Liberal Justices to block Louisiana Abortion Law

Looks like they don't have enough votes to overturn Roe v Wade. This is sort of what I tried to say a while back... even if they are "GOP" votes, the Court can only go against overwhelming public opinion to a certain degree.

Roberts sided with the liberals again... Stare Decisis. Howling to commence in 3,2,1....

My FB feed is filled with rejoicing at this decision, partly because of the "liberal" angle, but also because so many of my friends actually live in LA.

Unlike Barr, who says he doesn't care about his legacy, I think Roberts cares. That doesn't make him any less conservative. I just think he's trying to balance his legacy with his conservatism. It is the Roberts' Court.

Seattle Looters, Agitators, Anarchists and “Protestors”, are now refusing to leave the “CHOP” Zone. They have ZERO respect for Government, or the Mayor of Seattle or Governor of Washington State! Not good!

Ok rereading that it sounds like they are talking about after the election, and being VERY weird with their wording, so Im not actually sure what specifically they are talking about, only that its a fucking lie.

there's a reason why he picked after the midterms. The very few real elections were in deep red districts where there was no expectation of a loss. And primaries? Is he serious

President Donald Trump set off a "five-alarm fire" in the White House on Sunday morning after he retweeted a video of one of his supporters saying "white power," according to two White House officials.

The video remained on the president's Twitter page, where he has 82 million followers, for more than three hours because White House officials couldn't reach him to ask him to delete it, the two officials said. The president was at his golf club in Virginia and had put his phone down, the officials said.

Aides also tried unsuccessfully to reach deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino to ask him to delete the retweet, officials said.

@waltshaub
It took hours for Trump to delete his "white power" retweet. The claim now is that he couldn't be reached while golfing. This leaves 2 horrifying possibilities: (1) his staff wouldn't know how to reach him in an emergency or (2) it took hours to persuade him to delete the video.

It would be horrifying, but not surprising, to hear that it took White House staff three hours to get in touch with the President.

They don't have any way to contact the Secret Service people who are supposed to be with him? They couldn't call the pro shop and have some schmo scoot out there on a golf cart in less than 3 hours?

This may be the best possible news on the might-accidentally-nuke-an-ally front. Thinking people will have a 3 hour head start on him.

25A won't help. They still lose in Nov.
Definitely if Pence pardons using language of Ford's proclamation.

Mentioning the 25A was not intended to be taken too serious but to indicate that the baby is just nuissance value in the Oval Office. The timeline for a 25A procedure is too long and MiPe is not supportive. Had he wanted to take over the presidency as was once speculated he would have moved already.

Looking at a bunch of pictures of Obama and IMPOTUS the other day, I was struck by how IMPOTUS almost always looks angry, stern, disgusted, bored, or simply unhappy. Even when he does smile it’s so forced and fake. Of course we all know and love Obama’s look of utter joy when he’s happy. :lovestruck: Biden tends to have that same spontaneous happiness shine through and I look forward to seeing a lot of that in the next four years.
