A mistrial was declared on the count of obstruction of an official proceeding against Michael Greene.

We may not have to wait long to get some idea of the sentence prosecutors will seek for these Proud Boys. Sentencing memos are due tomorrow for the Oath Keepers convicted in the first seditious conspiracy trial last year.

I think most of these judges have given significantly lighter sentences than prosecutors have asked for. I will be very interested to see the sentencing for the 14 seditious conspirators.

Just a cursory search, but I think the judge on this case is Mehta and he's currently not messing around with sentencing. Wasn't he the one who just gave someone not related to OK defendants 12 years or something? It's late and I'm too lazy to look too hard

Yes. Yesterday. Judge Mehta sentenced Peter Schwartz to 14 years. Prosecutors asked for 24.5 years.

Feds are seeking 21 *years* prison
