What does a helicopter do when it’s on acid?

I dunno, but the guy who told me that one was one of the best damn eggbeater drivers on God's good earth.

Now they guy who told me to never punch the cops in Germany was just a drunk.

I discovered the proper bacon frying safety on my own. :bag:

Baidn wrote: Thu Mar 31, 2022 7:45 am That "top ten lessons" bullshit seems to be entirely stolen from collective half drunk consciousness of older white women's wine brunches. I'm 100% sure I've seen the entire thing (sans edits of course) on the Facebook post of my my most annoying older relatives multiple times.
As on older (69) white woman, I have seen or heard a few of the Rittenhouse tips. I heard these when I was practicing law in a firm in which I was the first and only female lawyer (1982) and these tips helped me grow as a person:

Choose to surround yourself with the ones who will encourage you to succeed. ( My law partners and family and friends.)

You are much stronger than you could possibly imagine. (Yep!)

The brunches I attended and at which I was half drunk involved champagne, not white wine!!!!🍾
In my defense I think you are probably considerably more classy than the older relatives to which I was referring :p they are exactly the kind of people who you expect to support this little shit. My last unavoidable interaction with them involving drunken shrieking about transgender athletes. Regardless without drifting further from the main topic I will concede he may have stolen his pearls of wisdom from better sources as well.

Baidn- You, sir, are a gentleman, and responded to my post with grace and dignity.

The relative we have to deal with who would give the "Rittenhouse tips" is Hubby's younger brother who is the most sanctimonious soul I have ever encountered. He is an ivermectin trumper even though he has a bachelor's degree and a Master's in science. Actually, he is a mini-tfg. One of the great pleasures I have had in dealing with him is to always say "fuck" at least once. Ladies don't talk like that, of course. You can see him cringe each time. Do NOT ever get in between him and a dollar bill.

I’m so lucky. I only had one relation who was an utter ass about politics, but trump done him in. Shortly after Obama was elected he smirked at dinner:
So, how’s that hopey-changey thing goin’ for you?
Just fine, thanks. ( god I wanted to smack him )

Fast forward to last Sept.
How’s that trumpy thing goin’ for ya? I asked.
He buried his face in his hands.
I had no idea what a monster he would be.

He actually apologized and said he was seeing things more my way. :o

I dunno if Rittenhouse is just a dumbass, if he is being mislead and confused by his handlers, or what. I do think he sincerely believes Biden should sit down with him, so  what a maroon.

Haven't done it often, but unless there's a thunderstorm, standing in pouring rain is wonderful. ;)

Yes. A dumbass being intentionally mislead and confused by his handlers. He probably has become addicted to the attention and that often triggers the dumbass behavior.

Having misspent part of my youth in the Army at Ft Sherman, Panama, standing in the rain used to be my job.

I have had occasion to separate 2 fighting dachshunds who can be quite jealous of rawhide treats. Seriously, they have scared me to the point that I no longer let them have them.

His handlers are trying to make Joe Biden appear weak to MAGA because he’s clearly afraid of the nice young man.

So... the smug little punk thinks he is entitled to an audience with POTUS? He murdered people in Kenosha -- how many others were murdered during that protest? Answer, anyone? Who else died outside of Kyle's gun violence?

There was a comedy bit years ago -- I think from Elayne Boosler, but I could be wrong -- which was about all the other obvious pieces of advice that could have been in those lyrics: "Don't wash your face with Clorox / Don't shave with a kitchen kniiiiife...." That still cheers me up every time the stray memory flits through my head.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,
As round and round we run;
And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.
