I have it on doubtful authority that this is secret hidden camera video from one of the CPAC future strategy planning seminars.

Has everybody heard about the bird?

Mrs' eye is healing right up. It now has the hues of an iris - magenta, yellow, and brown.

But, she doesn't want to be called Iris.

Maybe she spells it "eye-ris" and associates it with pain and lack of vision. :D

Which few days? We’re beach camping mid-August. If it’s not the same days, I’ll see ya in Seattle!

Daylight savings time next weekend. Woo-hoo!

I am NOT a morning person. I think 8:30 is an ideal time to wake up. Not get out of bed yet... just to wake and catch up on the news on my iPad Mini.

So a week from tomorrow the sunrise will be at 7:27am and sunset will be at 7:18pm. I love being able to pick up something for supper and not have to drive home in the dark.

I like later, warmer hours to visit Princess and walk the doggies, and Siri, if she's in the mood. :D

Bob's your uncle.

The Brits, Canadians, Aussies and a few others know the origin and meaning of this saying. I had to look it up.

We had something very similar recently here in the States. It was several degrees worse than Bob. Don's your daddy.

The magenta in Mrs' eye is fading today, and she has decided she likes being called Iris.

Lemon cream soup and Caesar salad for dinner tonight. She just finished the chicken stock for it, and it is brilliant (as usual).

Last night we had a fire down by the pond with a couple friends, socially distanced of course, and the sunset was quite impressive from the dock

I woke up to another 37 Russian spammers having registered to join us.

So I switched from Captcha to Q&A: Now in order to register, you need to know the name of the US Secretary of State. Let's see how that works. :batting:

You could ask for the name of our current president. Odds are they'd answer with that guy who use to be.

Feeling cranky now. Had to draw upon every stateman cell in my body to compose a polite response to the hospital emergency department requesting us to "honor"the staff we received care from when she fell a few weeks ago. Down South you can simply write "Well bless your heart", but up here you have to lay down a few more words to express displeasure without outright cursing. Ugh.
