It also works for "dog," where you get different legs and a "woof" instead of a "meow" sound.

I have a recurring fantasy. The cast changes according to circumstances.

Bannon has a dinner party 1 week before the midterms in order to disseminate his evil plans for the day of the elections. At the table are Kash, Devin, Bannon himself, and at his right Marjo TG. Straws were drawn before dinner and Matt got the short one so he’s serving everyone tonight. Ronny Jackson is there in case anyone needs medical attention or can’t finish their wine.

The dinner party is catered by Bobo. No one makes it home with clean underpants. They re sick for weeks and can’t vote.

I feel badass today.

Does he do this often? Kids look up to these sportsball stars and it is really unfortunate when you see one acting this way. I would be a proponent of a code of conduct for sportsball players, chief among the requirements, BE A GOOD SPORT. Good grief.

It looked to me a bit like he thought about it for a second, then grabbed and slammed the first racquet. That is, more of an act than rage.

The context if the racket smashing makes this title a bit misleading.

1) This presser, and his "not having to play again" comment came after his epic win over World No. 1 Medvedev, two days before the loss and racket abuse.

2) He was happy and exhuberant -- Good Nick, if you will -- and his point was that IF HE WON the US Open, he wouldn't have to play again, because his life would be complete. He didn't even say he wouldn't play again, he just said he wouldn't have to.

3) It's a nothing burger.

The "we" is a thing most tennis players use now. It is meant to acknowledge that they have a team behind them, without whom they would be nowhere (NB This is true: the feats of the modern game are the result of player, coach, fitness trainer, and agent).

Particularly if you're an Aussie.

So no, not the royal we.

He's still a jerk, of course.
