It's still rainy here. Today I made it out to do some shopping & pick up mail. But as I was traveling home, there was another storm. It took awhile to get home, and my road was once again a mud river. Made it home, slipping & sliding. Everything is so drenched that it doesn't take much rain to close down the roads. Likely there will be rain until early Monday. Staying at home for the weekend.

I have to provide a training Monday morning. Fortunately, if I can't drive out, it will be via zoom. I prefer to train in person and encourage interaction, but oh well. Been doing a lot of remote training for 1.5 years.

P.S. That's nothing compared to tornadoes. I've only been in 3 tornado situations in my life. One approached my home in Virginia, jumped over the house, and then continued on down the street. :cantlook:

Not surprised at the tornadoes. Snow to the north and 82 degrees here today and tomorrow. Perfect set up for a massive storm. It's supposed to start here in a couple of hours I think. Only wind gusts so far.

The videos and pics on Twitter are horrific. When daylight comes it will be exponentially worse.

Also, if you're trying to contact people in the affected area, texting will usually go through better than a phone call.

Fortunately, they're reporting only 2 dead.
MONETTE, Ark. (WREG/KTLA/KARK)– A Northeast Arkansas nursing home was hit by a tornado, leaving two dead and five injured.

Craighead County Judge Marvin Day confirms two are dead, and five seriously injured at Monette Manor in Monette, Arkansas.

At one point 20 were trapped in the nursing home.

This is a developing story, updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
