We're already 3' above flood level and not expected to crest until Tuesday at another 3'. The mayor is asking for voluntary evacuations of homes that were flooded in the last flood several years ago.

Trees are toppling everywhere and taking power lines with them.

Yuppers. It will be 85 at midnight tonight. Not cooling down much either.

Fortunately we called the AC company that installed our ductless system in Dec. to tell them we weren’t happy with its performance. They came and discovered no refrigerant. :roll: Not sure how but I don’t care, we have AC now!

Santa Clarita, aka Magic Mountain, has microclimates. This happened in one part of the city while the rest was hot and mostly sunny.

Yes. She thought the rainstorm was nice. She’s not a fan of Santa Clarita. They’re heading home this week.

My gods! I remember so many of those places. Front St. in particular looks *so* weird all flooded like that. The ocean isn't all that far off of Front St. - maybe 50 to 100 yards or so - so it's not horribly surprising that it can flood, but still...
