Annnnnnd, here comes the rain. Another rotation identified less than 2 miles from here. Reports of damage already coming in from downtown. Reports of power out and trees/poles down coming in fast all over town.One apparently headed for the inner-city university campus. The storm trackers on EOC are tracking it straight up the main street towards campus.

Weird weather. Yesterday, we went out to dinner. Sat on a porch overlooking a lake, no jacket needed, 75 degrees. Today, it's 43. We've had two rounds of hail. At this moment, it's hailing while the sun is shining. The guy next door, who loves to mow his lawn on a riding mower, got in a mow between hail storms. Nice enough guy (trumpie, though, I'd bet), but a bit :crazy: .

I follow Keukenhof on Facebook. Yesterday, it was a lovely day. Today, the tulips are covered with snow.

Today would be a good day to defrost the freezer in WI. Put everything outside, turn off the freezer, hook up a hose to the drain, and crank up the heater. Done before noon.
