That is very interesting. Interesting spinach.

It gives you the nubmers on a 1/2 cup serving, but the can contains 13.5 oz., and so there's only one 8 oz. serving per can, with 5.5 oz. remaining.

Suppose you want to know how much deadly sodium you are imbibing in those last 5.5 oz.? Well then, this is why you need Alexa to do the math for you. I do, anyway.

But jeez ... 200 mg of sodium ...

Your math’s off there, oh Great One. Half a cup is four ounces. So in a 13.5 oz can there are 3 servings, with a remainder of 1 1/2 oz.

'Course, Foggy and Popeye have never been seen together ...

This is the second injury I never heard of before it happened to me. Last time it was a Jones fracture. Now I have a Popeye deformity.

What's next? :confuzzled:

No, don't tell me. :fingerwag:

Covfefe. I need moar covfefe.

OMG, so there are 675 mg of sodium in that one can. Awesomeness.
Edit: 3 servings = 600 mg
1.5/4 = .375 x 200 = 75 mg
Total 675 mg

After all the hearings are done, you may be one of the few who hasn't. I don't recall asking for a pardon but maybe I did. It was January and maybe I was bored or something.

Well sir, my momma always told me, "Never ask for a pardon from somebody who committed worse crimes than you did," and those are words to live by.

In any event, I shall be AFK all day, packing and driving traveling to someplace at or near the Atlantical Ocean.

Somewhat south of there, I'm not on that map. Today will be cloudy :( and 85°.

Do you know that after a storm you usually get bigger surf? :batting:

They still steal whole vehicles? I thought that nowadays they just stole catalytic converters. ;)

Hay, so long as they don't steal mah boogie board, I'm okay.

I weigh a little less than 73 kg. today, and I need to RIDE in the ocean surf.

We leave for the shore in 10 minutes. 8-)

My eldest is starting his new life in Greenville. He had some time to explore last weekend and called from the Outter Banks. He's on his way to buy a board (I have no idea) and look into a fishing license. He has a degree in in Disaster Management and hopes to find his edumacation useful on the coast of NC.

Edit to add:. Buy fresh spinach, or at the least frozen.

More recently some states requires the VIN number of the vehicle from where the cat came from. Best to bring some car to the scrap metal dealer ;)

May also have some residual value itself when left there too also.

Well, the surf was reasonably sized for a geezer dude, say 2' to 3', but rough and choppy. But that's what a boogie board is for, I was getting rides of 50 yards and longer. But if'n I had just been bodysurfing it might have been a more frustrating experience. I still got thrashed about, but those rides ...

A father in his 40s and teenage son were next to me. We started talking (I can strike up a conversation with a fence post) and the dad said "This isn't exercise, this is self-abuse!" I told him to go under the big ones and use the flow of the water to your advantage. "Don't fight the water, because it is WAY stronger than you are."

But I was in my element. :towel:

On the Third of July, we weren't even gonna try to get in a restaurant. :nope:

Instead, we ordered take-out from our favorite seafood joint. I got the small broiled sea scallops. They gave me eighteen scallops, for $22. I have eaten scallops in hoity-toity Bethesda, MD restaurants and they give you 5 scallops on a bed of noodles ... for $39.

Oh, and I had an exquisite cup of low-country crab bisque, to go with the scallops.

And I got the t-shirt. This exact t-shirt, this is the back.

1. We were in what we call "the Christmas store" and they wouldn't carry that one. It's a place where little kids and their grandparents are safe and happy and never think about the puppies.

2. It's just not me. It's just not who I am. 'Course, I could order one online, but y'know, most of my friends IRL are womenfolk, and I would never consider freeing any of their puppies, and I wouldn't ever want them to think I might.

3. Go away. It's the Forth of Jool-eye, and I just heard a big peal (?) of thunder. It's raining and I'm at the beach but we can't go to the beach today. :(

So we went to the beach anyway, at 9:30 a.m., because ol' Wifehorn insisted that her stupid stinkin' weather app said it would not begin raining until noon, and even then it was a 20% chance.

I politely  informed her that my far superior weather app said 70% chance of severe thunderstorms starting by 11.

We got to the beach in dark and stormy clouds and spent half an hour listening to the thunder before I had enough and pretty much started packing up our shit to go to the car, at which point ol' Wifehorn reluctantly decided to join me, and five minutes after we got inside the car it opened up on us, big time.

So we only got soaked going from the car to the unit. :violin:

So what do you do in Sunset Beach when you can't go to the beach?

Why, you go to Myrtle Beach to the outlet malls, of course. :batting:

And if'n the weather clears up, maybe a little miniature golf. :oldman:
