She won't. She will get the same consideration that Heidi received when Trump insulted her. The child will just need to take it and apologize for her unseemly conduct in embarrassing her dad by not being a dutiful daughter. I feel for her and her sister, not Heidi cuz she can divorce him and have NOTHIN for Ted.

Do they really not realize that, even if they do take back the majority in both the House and Senate, they will not have the votes to convict? Do they really not realize that, even some on the right will see that this is taking the entire party on a suicide mission?
They're not interested in governing.

They're interested in perpetuating the narrative that leads to them regaining power.

They're not interested in governing. They're interested in power and the wealth that easily comes with it.

That's my take.

How many idiots like Cawthorne and EmptyGee said “I don’t do policy; I do comms”, as if it’s just peachy that they don’t have a clue how to legislate. Our tax dollars at…work?

Legislating is the job for the actual educated (either book-larned or self-educated-and-with-a-certain-desire-to-know) silverbacks in the room. Flinging poop is what the younger and less worldly primates do.

Plot twist: the grand jury was made up almost entirely of other Republican Senators. The lone exception was Al Franken.

They probably drink another brand of beer. Had it been their preferred brand, they may have returned an indictment. Not to do so would insult the beer.

I don't know White Claw so I can't comment.

However, Coors IS beer. Lousy beer, but beer, none-the-less.

Corona is not beer though.

Fruit-flavored hard seltzer.

Like Coors, etc.: watery and usually relatively low ABV.

Trendy with the yoots.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that.

Coors advertises (or at least they used to) that it is made with "Rocky Mountain Spring Water". IMHO, it **IS** rocky mountain spring water.

maybe look at it this way... at least it doesn't have to slow down on the way through you to change colors.

ETA: there is a beer in Oz that advertises that it is "made from beer".

ETA2: Corona's original reason for existence was as a water substitute. It's better for you than the water in Mexico, it was extremely cheap to make, transport without refrigeration, and was so tasteless that it could also be consumed without much referigeration. Mexico makes terrific beers. Corona ain't one of them.

Be careful about dissing Coors. It was the hard to get can of Coors birthday gift for my oldest brother that led me to the life changing meeting with Hubby. 💖💕

My dad was one of the guys from the Midwest that would pile into their cars and travel to Colorado in college to pickup a trunkful of it, Coors will always have a soft spot in my heart. Judge away.

My son's first year of college, his first month at school. We visited in late September for Parent Weekend and to drop off a few things he needed for his dorm room.

We took him out to dinner and at one point he said "Man that Coors Lite is CHEAP beer"

In my wayward youth, cheap beer was Schlitz.

I drank a lot of cheap beer.

When I was 21, I lived in a room in a house full of guys, and we had a refrigerator in the basement that was adapted to a keg of beer. Beautiful. It was a beautiful thing, with a tap on the front. And the plan was, we would pool our money at the beginning of the month, and buy a keg of beer, and it would last most of the month before we had to go back to buying cheap beer in cans.

And, being grownups now, you can see the obvious flaw in the plan.

Beer is arguably never off-topic, but I guess I should tag it so …

Mack's in Tromsø (the -ø is a sort of "-uh" sound) labels its beers as from "The World's Northernmost Brewery". One first thinks "hm, that's interesting" then a moment later "but in what way could being the northermost brewery improve the quality of the beer when cold plays no part in the brewing process".

Mack's boast could be challenged: there is now a craft brewery in Longyearbyen on Svalbard, y'know, the place with polar bears, important in Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials stories, lots of northern lights. Svalbard Brewery's IPA is a serious 7.0% alcohol, I guess so it can be used as a sort of internal anti-freeze.

Norwegian beer is decent, but horribly expensive. Belgium's the place for sensible priced excellent beers. And "frites" with mayonnaise.

We now return you to your scheduled programming, please continue ranting about Ted Cruz.
