Still a jerk.

Someone hired a mariachi band to serenade his house though!

Don't forget his name includes FELITO. He was known as FELITO most of his youth.

Since Felito promised that he was just going to The Ritz Carlton Cancun to escort his daughters, wasn't it terrific his college roommate helped escort them?
Scoop: Cruz's Cancún trip included college roommate
Alayna Treene, Glen Johnson

In explaining his disastrous Cancún trip, Sen. Ted Cruz failed to mention his college roommate also was along for the visit.

Axios has learned Cruz (R-Texas) invited David Panton, his longtime friend and former roommate at Princeton and Harvard Law, to join the family getaway. An aide tells Axios the senator extended the invitation only after the Cruz family planned the vacation last Tuesday. Panton accepted, and flew to Mexico.

The bottom line: Panton stayed at the Ritz-Carlton, while Cruz schlepped home.

Panton grew up in Jamaica and is now a private equity investor based in Atlanta. He didn't respond to Axios requests for comment.

Methinks in future years people will associate the name Cruz with Cancun in the same way Ted Kennedy will always be associated with Chappaquidick. I also think both men lost their chance of being elected President because of these mishaps, but both men were/will be re-elected as Senators.

I don’t know how to post links, but I watched a clip from Trevor Noah daily show regarding FLTTT’s redemption attempt. He was helping a neighbor clean out their house that had sustained damage. The clip focused on him helping remove carpet and padding.
In my years I have also removed carpet and padding, and have found that it is one of the most dusty jobs there is. Even without a pandemic I, personally, would never do it without a mask. Even in apparently clean carpet the shampoo cleaning acts to force dirt deeper into the carpet/pad. There was drywall removed also. That is also a job that stirs up considerable dust.
The video shows almost everyone masked, except for FLTTT, and a young girl, as fat as I could tell.

It just seemed wrong on several levels, he may have super lungs that reject gypsum, talc, mica, silica, and calcite – ingredients known to cause health issues when inhaled.

Aside from possible mold in carpet padding.

This is without even considering the pandemic reasons for wearing a mask.

I have found also, in older homes, that a lot of times there is beautiful hardwood floors waiting to be refinished.

Please excuse fat-fingered typos.

I'd bet some money that Felito never did any manual labor before those ridiculous photo ops.

Now I'm reading that he went on some Podcast and called his neighbors who leaked Heidi's texts "assholes." Welcome to River Oaks Ted!

Matthew Dowd, who ran W's 2000 Presidential Campaign says they had a running joke:

Why does everyone take an instant dislike to Ted Cruz?

Answer: It saves time.

As much as I liked Al Lewis in Car 54, and The Munsters, I can’t shake the uncanny resemblance to FeLiTTTo.

He doesn’t care about his constituents, why would he care about this? How does he keep getting re-elected?

Salon: Now Ted Cruz may be buying his own books through a mystery company. If Cruz is paying royalties to himself through a shadow entity, that could stir the FEC into action.
For some reason, the link to Salon article won't c/p for me, so apologies. Cat is on lap, and I'm not disturbing her to try another device.

At that price, they probably won't see too many, but still fun.

The article didn't say where or how they were made, but I strongly suspect that, to get to market that quickly, they must be hand made, locally. Cost, maybe $5, possibly $10. How much can papier-mache and a little paint cost? Biggest cost is probably labor. Pretty good markup.

The article did say that they have a two week waitlist. If they're hand made, they can easily stop production when demand drops off. They don't have to buy a large production run.

According to local NBC affiliate station KXAS-TV, each piñata is handmade and takes about three to five days to complete. The 3 1/2-foot-tall Cruz piñata has a price tag of $100 and currently has a two-week wait list.

That's a big piñata. There's no sense of scale in those pics.

Two things I can assure you won't:

Brains and heart.

And courage, three, three things won't come out...

I'll come in again...
