The track back arrow? Must be an eternity by now. At least a couple of years I would say. At the same time they placed the date and time of the quoted message top right. May have been with the introduction of phpBB v3.2 ?

ETA. snooped on Oldbow and the feature shows up sometime in summer 2020.

I missed the trackback feature for a long time. It was more noticeable on the other board software that we ran for a while. I think it had a dedicated button or something. It is nice especially when the quoted post can be buried back a page or more on a busy topic.

Here is the list of board styles I will be updating in the morning:

• Green-Style-Split
• HexagonReborn
• prosilver Dark
• prosilver Special Edition

Everything else is up-to-date.

If you haven't tried a different board style, User Control Panel --> Board preferences --> My board style

Do you knows of any way to cleanly make tables? I post a bunch of table-worthy stuff in the sportsball threads and right now it's....ugly at best.

The Fogbow Calendar is a table, I used the icon of a table on the posting page, it has basic instructions.

This morning I did my weekly maintenance chores, and then I updated the software that runs my server, which took some time but I got it done. And there was some kind of warning, I have to do this and that or all my websites will die blah blah blah I don't pay attention to that nonsense.

There are new versions of the phpBB Media Embed and Advanced BBCode extensions, which will be installed in the morning.

Cool improvements? I imagine we'll be able to link to TruthSocial posts and have the Orange Menace yelling at you from the convenience of your home, on autoplay, of course.

While nobody was looking, I updated the forum again. With security updates. But we lost our links for Active Topics and Unread Posts, and some other stuff, because this was a major upgrade. I'll put those things back in as it goes along and the spirit moves me. Until then, the Quick Links work.

On the bright side, the update was flawless. The update done took away my customization, but it says:

Your phpBB installation is up to date. There are no updates available at this time.

Very pleased.

Everytime the links are lost, I don't lose them in GraandNew. I'm starting to feel left out or maybe I'm special and Foggy does this theme first.

Updates and board changes noticed, and noted. No problems browsing with Opera. Your work as always is appreciated.

Still get the random logout thingy i if I step away for more than ~20 minutes..., but not a huge issue because it only takes two clicks to get back in.
