Regardless, I doubt they have shared a bedroom for even longer than that. That is one strange couple.

I would LOVE to drag Death Santis over to the UK, nail his hands to the seat and force him to watch back to back childrens matinee performance pantomime shows.

Then make him try to explain to a horde of sugar stoked, over excited pre-teens just hgow "indoctrinated" they have become.

This to be interspersed with the various panto dames doing the tradional chorus of "Oh Yes We DId"....kids "Oh No You Didn't", hissing at Death Santis as a classic panto villain interspersed with him being goosed by the dames ending with an extremely camp.... It's exactly what we all said he would have done. That's why the war wouldn't have happened. Trump would have ceded Ukraine to Russia. Which once again exposes his hypocrisy on Crimea and blaming President Obama for it.

He hates Zelensky. He tried to extort Zelensky into fabricating some dirt on Joe Biden, but it didn't work, AND he got impeached for it. He would give away every inch of Ukraine.

And let's not forget that Putin didn't just want a few provinces. Kyiv was the target from the first day of the invasion. A few provinces would have turned into the entire country in a heartbeat.

Putin would like to restore the borders akin to the former USSR, where there had been post-WW2 a ring of countries that would get destroyed as battlefields if the west were to attack Russia itself. Main flaw is that the next war will take a different format than the tank battles of memory. The next war will be missiles that don't care of any intermediate country. Also the bombers today take a different form than those of vintage WW2. Not to think of "intelligent" ammuntions available today.

I suspect it is not the old USSR he wants to recover but the old Russian Empire which actually extended further. One of his cronies has repeatedly said that Poland was next.
