Corporation (VFC) - Get Free Report subsidiary North Face is the latest company to come under criticism for a promotional event co-hosted by environmental activist Wyn Wiley, better known as drag queen Pattie Gonia. Through Pattie, Wiley has led a charge to make outdoor spaces more accessible to diverse communities that may not always feel welcome.

North Face, however, appears proud to stand behind its choice of spokes-queen. In a comment under the ad, the company said "We recognize the opportunity our brand has to shape the future of the outdoors and we want that future to be a more accepting and loving place. We’re partnering with Pattie because we believe the outdoors are for everyone."

Lauren Boebert has claimed that she intentionally missed the House vote on the debt ceiling deal - after reports that she actually tried to attend but was too late.

The Colorado Republican emerged as one of the fiercest critics of the debt ceiling deal brokered by House leader Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden to avoid a catastrophic default.

But when it was time for the House of Representatives to cast their votes on Wednesday night, she failed to show up.

Ms Boebert was mocked on social media after she reportedly “narrowly missed the vote, running up the steps right as they gaveled”, according to Axios Capitol Hill reporter Juliegrace Brufke.

So difficult to find a grave of those who died in Normandy. She was over at Charles's Ford grave in section 33. Just over in the next section we have:

PFC James Lewis Brooks, Company B, 116th Infantry, 29th Division
Captain Sherman V. Burroughs, Headquarters Company, 116th Infantry, 29th Division

Both of these would have been in the second wave at Omaha Beach and drifted west of Dog Green, landed below the cliffs, and were picked off by snipers.

He would have dropped somewhere behind Utah Beach as part of Mission Albany
