Origins of a Viral Photograph

As news of this scandal started to spread on social media, so did a picture that supposedly showed Boebert with two nearly naked men. There's little evidence, however, that she's the woman pictured.

This photograph has been on the internet since at least 2013, when it was shared on the porn website smutty.com. That post did not contain any biographical information about the people involved, nor did any of the subsequent posts of the picture over the next few years. It wasn't until after Boebert became a public figure that her name was unduly attached to it.

One of the first instances that we could find of someone sharing this photograph along with the claim that it showed Boebert was in March 2022, when it was posted by the Tucker Carlson parody account "Sucker Carlson." That version was digitally altered to give this woman glasses similar to the ones Boebert wears:

It's also worth noting that this photograph was not included in the newly released allegations against Boebert. While the document did include two photographs that supposedly showed Boebert during a brief stint working as a model, this viral photograph was not one of them.

The claim that Boebert is pictured in this photograph appears to have been made up in an attempt to malign the politician. This photograph was circulating online for years unaccompanied by Boebert's name. When her name started appearing in captions of this photograph circa 2022, it did so without any evidence to support that identification.

Lauren Boebert Scolded After Arguing With Witness During Hearing

Representative Lauren Boebert was scolded by committee leadership and reminded about House rules after she verbally sparred with a witness during an oversight hearing.

Boebert, a Colorado Republican, went back and forth with New York University professor Sally Katzen, who appeared Wednesday as a minority witness before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability for a hearing titled "Death by a Thousand Regulations: The Biden Administration's Campaign to Bury America in Red Tape."

Boebert ranted at Katzen during her time on the floor, speaking over the witness when the professor began to answer her questions. After refusing to wait for Katzen's response, the two sparred multiple times over a span of minutes as Katzen called out Boebert, and Boebert barreled over Katzen's words.

When Boebert yielded her time, Ranking Member Representative Jamie Raskin, a Maryland Democrat, asked the committee's chairman, Republican Representative James Comer of Kentucky, to address his colleague's behavior, saying that, "An insult is not a substitute for an argument."

"The chair would advise members to adhere to the House standard of decorum and proceed in order," Comer told the committee.

The Chair did not "scold" her, only said, "play nicely" in general. Crockett did scold her (you need to read further in the article than what I copied.

Of course, BooBoo's time is not to ask question and hear answers but make noise by asking questions an not bothering to wait for answer.
