IANAL, but as a public person, I'd imagine he'd be facing a steep challenge even before the Tucker Carlson defense (ie. no reasonable person would take anything Carlson says seriously) comes into play.

If a guy at the grocery store said that to him, I’d agree. But, the Tucker Carlson defense aside, this is a “news” station saying this. Millions of viewers believe the things Tucker pulls out of his ass, he’s one of the original authors of the RWNJ canon of bullshit.

My office is now getting calls from folks who say they watch Tucker Carlson and are upset that we're not siding with Russia in its threats to invade Ukraine, and who want me to support Russia's "reasonable" positions.

The important question, though, is what Tucker's opinion of Russian M&Ms is.

Tucker: Why is it disloyal to side with Russia but loyal to side with Ukraine?

In the Bizarro World of Tucker where Libs are Communists, and Russians are reasonable.
