Trump's blog isn't lighting up the internet
Social media data collected by NBC News found little engagement with the posts, which hints at the effectiveness of deplatforming.

https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/ ... et-rcna890
The ex-president’s blog has drawn a considerably smaller audience than his once-powerful social media accounts, according to engagement data compiled with BuzzSumo, a social media analytics company. The data offers a hint that while Trump remains a political force, his online footprint is still dependent on returning to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

The Desk of Donald J. Trump is limited — users can’t comment or engage with the actual posts beyond sharing them to other platforms, an action few people do, according to the data.

Trump’s new blog has attracted a little over 212,000 engagements, defined as backlinks and social interactions — including likes, shares and comments — received across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Reddit. Before the ban, a single Trump tweet was typically liked and retweeted hundreds of thousands of times.

:snippity:

Trump's bans cost him the ability to communicate with millions of people: 88 million followers on Twitter, 32 million on Facebook, and 24 million on Instagram. Trump had just around 3 million YouTube subscribers, but his videos regularly racked up millions of views.

What did he expect? I went to his "no comments" blog once. It's garbage. His penis is little tiny penis (Stormy told us).

GO HOME.. it's over!

'CRIME OF THE CENTURY!' Trump issues furious statements lashing out at Pence and Mitch McConnell for his election loss
https://www.rawstory.com/trump-election-loss/
Had Mike Pence had the courage to send the Electoral College vote back to the states for recertification, and had Mitch McConnell fought for us instead of being the weak and pathetic leader he is, we would right now have a Republican President who would be VETOING the horrific Socialistic Bills that are rapidly going through Congress, including Open Borders, High Taxes, Massive Regulations, and so much else!
I have no problem with tfg attacking McConnell.

Par for the course though, isn’t it? ( Not meant as a golf pun, though it could certainly be taken that way. ;) )

This is not new. Even before he was elected, Samantha Bee on her show "Full Frontal" called him a "70 year old toddler".

We back to his weekend rage tweets. Many people take the time off to rest and relax. TFG uses it for golf and rages.

Now, my golf game was capable of sending me into a rage (or depression), but most people use golf to relax. It's not working for him.

DJT has clearly lost whatever little critical thinking skills he might have once had.

Everything he hears that supports whatever methane-powered brain activity he is currently experiencing MUST be true.

No. He is addicted to attention and craves it. This is just the random thing he has said that actually stuck to the wall and got him some. He's and addict rattling chains to get his fix. He does not care whether it makes him look stupid, the fix is all.

Having someone write and post that is perfectly natural for him when you realize he is a junkie. Every TV screen where he is not featured is a stab into his heart. He will be throwing shit at the wall, hoping it gets attention, for the rest of his life.

Conversely he isn't trying to have rallies out of sheer terror that no-one will turn up. Plus he does hot have the clout to demand cities accept his IOU anymore.

There have been stories in the last few days that he is planning rallys next month. His stop the steal grift has plenty of cash to pay in advance, which I'm sure he'll be forced to, but curious to see if any media covers it.

I have no doubt he can get 10,000 foaming at the mouth idgits to show up.

So can Elton John, who at least can sing.

He only managed 8000 for his Triumphant Return rally last year, remember? That stung him.

Besides, him "planning rallies next month" is his "we will have the Health care bill in 2 weeks" of "i haven't decided if I am running." He wants the attention gotten from the teasing announcement. Actually following through? That's next month.

He pulls the same lines over and over.

Given that Albuquerque has hired a collection agency to try to get him to pay the $211k that he still owes them, are cities finally going to get smart and demand for cash up front?

I don't believe that that is the only city that he still owes a lot of money to.

IIRC, there’s at least a half dozen of them. El Paso may be one.

Last I heard Tucson is looking for about 200K also.

Edit: I'm wrong. Tucson is still waiting for $82K

The Trump campaign has racked up over $1 million in unpaid bills from US cities

https://www.newsweek.com/14-us-cities-s ... ls-1525583
According to the Center for Public Integrity (CPI), interviews with municipal officials and municipal records and statements show that Trump's campaign has not paid at least 14 bills totaling more than $1.82 million. The unpaid money was used to cover public safety and police costs related to the president's campaign rallies.

The 14 cities are Spokane, Washington; Billings, Montana; Mesa and Tucson, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; El Paso, Texas; Minneapolis and Eau Claire, Minnesota; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Battle Creek, Michigan; Lebanon, Ohio; Erie, Pennsylvania; Burlington, Vermont; and Wildwood, New Jersey.

The Trump campaign's largest unpaid bills were from El Paso and Minneapolis, with $569,204 and $542,733, respectively, according to CPI. Both of these cities are awaiting payment for campaign rallies in 2019.

I'm afraid that there are a few republican controlled cities, in republican controlled states, that will be "honored" to host the orangester and will quietly eat the costs of doing so.

It might be a little cheaper that it used to be. As a former president, will he need the same level of police protection that he got as sitting president?

Still, be almost certainly won't pay for the venue or the police overtime.
