I has a few thoughts....

Chris Hayes talked me into believing Trump might not self surrender without at least some drama and possibly some kind of "Nope, I ain't gonna go".

It also has occurred to me that the DA could call up Trump's lawyers and say "Look, we have a sealed indictment. We want to avoid a circus and if your client can slip in without a parade we'll make the booking and arraignment as quick and painless as possible, but if your client makes this public and calls the flying monkeys, we swear to Krom we'll march him down every hallway in the building in handcuffs and release the worst mugshot we could get in 32 tries."

The "... and a pony" motion in Georgia today is just another way to add 45 more days to the process so he can delay any trial too far into the election, which I doubt works.

No matter what else happens, the moment anyone besides Trump gets the nomination, he's toast.
