I think anyone who truly loved and respected America wouldn't pose for a vanity shot of himself with his sweaty, pudgy, pancake-slathered mug pressed against Old Glory.

Why his deplorable sycophantic zealots don 't see that is something of a mystery. Respect for the flag used to be a core conservative value, right?

A federal appeals court on Wednesday debated whether Donald Trump can be forced to pay damages for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol to lawmakers and police officers injured by the mob.

While they struggled with the line between protected speechmaking and actionable incitement, all three judges on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals indicated that a line exists and the former president may have crossed it.

One judge, a Trump appointee who served in his administration, said Trump potentially instigated violence when he told his supporters the election was stolen and urged them to march on the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

The “arguable incitement,” Judge Gregory G. Katsas said, “makes this a hard case.”

Two Capitol Police officers and 11 House Democrats are suing Trump under a statute intended to combat Ku Klux Klan violence after the Civil War. The 150-year-old law bars the use of force, threats or intimidation to prevent government officials from carrying out their duties, and allows anyone injured by such actions to collect damages.

I guess those 232 "endosements" went to (R) seats that were already a sure win and didn't need no grandpas charms.

Basically. One of them was to deSantis and he endorsed him when it was certain that he would win. I haven't bothered looking over the list but the reaction of Republicans shows that it was a less than impressive batting average.

Yeah, I'm guessing about 200 of them were the betting equivalent of betting on the Bengals against a 3rd place girls HS team.

one T supporter speaks out
Rep. Paul Gosar Endorsed Trump’s Call to ‘Terminate’ Constitutional Rules

Ryan Bort
Wed, December 7, 2022 at 7:27 PM

Republicans have largely been silent about Donald Trump’s call to “terminate” certain provisions of the Constitution in order to overturn the results of the 2020 election and reinstall himself in the White House. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), however, has spoken out about the anti-democratic idea: He supports it.

“I support and agree with the former President,” he wrote on Twitter on Wednesday before the deleting the tweet amid backlash. “Unprecedented fraud requires unprecedented cure.”

I don't know how tall she is, but I'll bet she's in 3-4 inch heels.

More like 5 or 6 inch it looks like. I couldn't walk in a pair of shoes like that, I do have a pair of 2" pumps I can wear when I absolutely have to.
