IIRC from the Opposition to Squidney's MTD, Dominion stated they were in 1,600 jurisdictions. They were also in 1,600 jurisdictions in 2016. Are Trumpers planning to audit those results too also?

I've been trying to imaging playing the tape on this lawsuit (and for Sidney Powell generally) to the end. Trying and failing, actually. I can't think of a settlement that would actually do what Dominion requires that would be acceptable to Powell unless she has vastly more money than she appears. Unless I'm very mistaken, an apology (a la Newsmax) is not going to be sufficient to get her off the hook, even if she were smart and sane enough to seize such an opportunity - which, judging from the appearance with D'Souza, she plainly is not. But the endgame of her practice being put under and her personal finances being permanently obliterated seems like a possibility that to which she is utterly oblivious.

So, when she writes her book about this whole thing, Dominion will be able to sue and be given the copyright and all royalties for the book, in the same way that OJ Simpson's book was given to his wife's family.

Wall St Journal has posted the 5/7/21 edition. Nothing about Squidney since March. WaPo hasn't posted Friday's edition yet. Could it be that Squidney was wrong?

That argument is patently false. Dominion is also suing Rudy Giuliani. Are the suing Fox News, as well, or is that someone else? Anyway, she and Rudy were arguably, by far, the two most prominent voices shouting the big lie on national television.

I'm pretty sure the correct remedy for a plaintiff not bringing suit against every possible defendant is not dismissal. At most, it's grounds for the defendant to file an impleader motion to compel other defendants to be joined.

I'm trying to parse this into something that makes sense in my head...
The attorneys' Monday-night filing, meant to bolster a motion to dismiss the case, argued that Dominion didn't have the standing to sue Powell.
...
Powell's attorneys, Lawrence J. Joseph and Howard Kleinhendler, said in the filing that Dominion's lawsuit was unfair because the company didn't also sue everyone else who supported Powell's lawsuits.
"Plaintiffs concede that as a public figure they must establish that Ms. Powell — the only human among defendants capable of uttering defamatory statements — acted with malice. Thus, if this Court somehow finds jurisdiction, this case must be dismissed," they wrote. "Nowhere in U.S. jurisprudence has a court found someone liable for defamation for publishing the basis of claims in four federal lawsuits supported by a combination of over 170 separate affidavits, declarations, and expert reports."
So... basically people who published the fact that Sydney said the election was a fraud Etc should be sued? And what was the point of adding on the "supported by..." bit at the end. Are they saying that the Sydney crapfest was true? Since multiple judges ruled that evidence was frivolous and has no probitive value, aren't they opening themselves up to perjury or contempt charges?
