While in this instance it was fairly obvious, Billy's rather good for this sort of take. His creative and business partner in docutainment filmmaking, Alfred Spellman, was my not-quite-stepbrother (our parents were together for most of the decade between the early 90s and very early aughts) and Billy (who is the public face of the partnership) has become a go-to pundit on some Florida commentariat circuits. Sports shows, news shows, culture shows, he'll comment on all of it and he does so with wit and fairly informed opinion. I recommend him pretty highly.
But the sunshine aye shall light the sky,

And the truth shall ever come uppermost,
And justice shall be done.

I think I've found my political Twitter metier.

There once was a troll named Stefanik
Who liked to push hatred and panic.
The election was stole!
Jan 6 was a stroll!
But health care for all is satanic!

There one was a Rep from New York,
Whose tongue was the shape of a fork,
She envied staunch Liz
So she gave her the biz,
But Marj stole her limelight (and pork).

It's getting late.

There once was a Rep named Stefanik
Which rhymes (so they say) with laconic.
Pronounced either way,
She has feet made of clay,
And her greedy soul needs a colonic.

There once was a Conference Chair
Though (they say) her advance was unfair
But she lied like a rug
And sucked up to the thug
So her critics had better beware!

Brava some more!

Hey! I’m seeing these planted around your district like the Old Burma shave signs, one line at a time. They’d be viral in about a minnit.

They just really write themselves as I read the news.

(Stefanik’s lament)

It’s hard when your boss is not growed.
Who knows when his temp will explode?
When he finds someone new
He’ll say “Huh, Elise who?”
And you’ll end up in Bratman’s commode.

Are you banned from twitter? These should go on Twitter with her tagged. When she blocks you you complain loudly that you are one of her constituents.

(I don't recall what was decided about whether elected government officials could block constituents.)

Damn this is fun!

There once was a rep named Stefanik
When MAGA came in she panicked
When Don was defeated
She frequently tweeted
The election, he said, was satanic

I'm working on it. There's a guy who does really good Stefanik cartoons (Marquis) and he's going to give me a boost. I'm not banned, no. Basically I know nothing about how to promote myself on Twitter, so any suggestions are appreciated.

Thus far (I'm on Day 2) I haven't used her twitter accounts. Not sure why. Guess I will. I use the #NY21 tag and a few people I thought might promote them.

I feel I need a nom de plume. Is "Boz" taken? :oldlady:

I'll be voting for Putorti in the NY primary. And, I hope, in other races for many years. Just love him.

This thread makes me sad for p0rtia. O have been lucky with my reps as even the GOPs ones were very moderate.

Looks like an ad for her, not him.

Of note: the crime rate in Georgia rose the year Trump took office, and in 2020 it rose three times faster than it did in 2021.

Good. Elise supporting Carl is another example of how despicable she is.

My boy Matt went down in flames to the ex-CIA Matt. My only regret was that they never debated (presumably because CIA not-so-sure-assualt-weapons-should-be-banned-hey-I'm-a-moderate! Matt refused).

Whom I will of course vote for in Nov.
