Fox's stated reason for letting her go is that they do not have paid contributors who are candidates for office or who are closely related to someone who is. Lara is the daughter-in-law of a candidate.

The article I read seemed to say that she might be back in an unpaid capacity. If so, how many Fox viewers will know the difference? Isn't this a case of "a difference that makes no difference is no difference"?
