I've seen more excited crowds at... well... everywhere. If this is getting fired up the venue must be the local coma ward.

The replies have a lot of close ups of the crowd and how excited they look.

West Chester is about 5 miles from where I live. I think, but am far from sure, that picture is in the Texas Roadhouse steakhouse, the steakhouse that isn't Outback. I could be the Longhorn, the steakhouse that is a cowboy place that isn't Texas Roadhouse. They're 4 blocks from each other in the congested area that has built up around an exit on the interstate. It's one or the other though, based solely on the decor.

The ironic thing about Jr. forming a group to fight Democratic gun control efforts, is that his father did more to restrict gun rights than any Democrat in recent memory.

Donald Trump effectively banned so-called "bump-stocks" that turned semi-automatic rifles into fully automatic rifles. I'm not sure but I think he did that by having BATF change the definitions of semi-auto and fully-auto weapons. Previously semi-auto was defined as "one trigger pull, one round", while fully auto-was defined as "one trigger pull, multiple rounds". Bump stocks work by using the recoil of the round being fired to pull the trigger and fire the next round. So, the shooter pulls the trigger once and the bump stock pulls the trigger for subsequent shots.

That is not to say that Donald Trump was a crusader for gun restriction. Far from it. Banning bump stocks was good, but a very small step.

It is really more of a statement at how ineffective the Democrats have been at passing any meaningful gun restrictions. Yet, the fear of the mean old Democrats taking your guns away remains a major talking point for the Republicans.

A leak? It was not some super secret for-your-eyes-only paper from the government. Just think about Daddy leaking secret information to Russian government visitors in his time at the WH. Nobody knows what secrets he told Putin in Helsinki by not having a chaperone sit in but using Russian provided translators and destroying notes taken during the meeting. Speak about clown ....
