They, and the parents of kids with autoimmune diabetes, talk about rationing insulin, which they can't do as they aren't capable of producing insulin. Republicans are planning a coup if they think this is a popular stance with anyone.

Eh, I hate to say it, but I kinda agree with him on this. The rather poorly named Espionage Act has always been kinda iffy and historically has been used as a bit of a swiss army knife to go after political opponents with their 'disloyal' speech. What started as a wartime power by a fairly isolationist nation has morphed into a rarely (if erratically) used catchall for 'don't embarrass the US'.
