Indite or indict? I ain't never been to a law school. But my teachers told me decades ago that indite is composition while indict is a criminal charge.

While indite is a homophone, it was used, IIRC, by birthers several hundred years ago, in confusion with the correct word. We used it to mock what are fake indictments by birthers, sovcits, and others.

And it fits Empty Gee's level of language usage.
