Brilliant.

And 100 votes will make all the difference in statewide results.

But, the bigger question should be how a GOP controlled state could possibly have fraudulent votes after all their efforts to curb them.

100 people named John Smith voted but that's impossible because John Smith died.

This usage of gaff is one that goes unnoticed too often.

A gaff is a hook, sometimes attached to a pole, that is used to snag a large fish from the water that has been caught either on a fishing line or in a net.

In the verb form it is a crooked gambling device, most often associated with gaffed dice in craps or a gaffed wheel in roulette.

(There is probably another definition or two for gaff, but would not include.....)

On the other hand, gaffe, is a social blunder or major screw up that results in something embarrassing or catastrophic.

Maybe naught, Crooks and Liars is chock-a-block with writers.

I often think that her silliest malapropisms - Jewish Space Lasers, Gazpacho, peach tree dish - are solely meant to “own the Libs”, which seems to be her highest goal in life. “Watch them go after me like the piranhas they are.” In that respect, maybe gaff isn’t wrong.

@davidhogg111
I hear you & your girls are funded to come to town this week to once again try to manipulate some of my gutless weak colleagues to vote for gun control that will violate our freedoms and leave Americans defenseless.

I don’t see you on my schedule, why not?

Congresswoman Greene,

I’m more interested in protecting children and meeting commonsense people who are looking for reasonable solutions to stop children from dying. Don’t really have time to help you go viral for attacking survivors so you can fundraise.

Respectfully,
David

Possibly apropos for this waste of protoplasm and oxygen thief masquerading as a human female...... A "Gaff" is a piece of fabric, hosiery or underwear pinning designed for Drag Queens, cross dressers or transgender individuals to ..... h'mmm .... how can one put it .... mask, flatten or obfuscate the gentlemanly meat and two veg.... :cantlook: :snippity:

Now I am not stating the MTG is in actuality one of the above, irrespective of the items such as more robust and "manly" hands and apparently higher levels of testosterone than her idol the Grifter in Chief.

in fact, most of the CD's and TG's of my acquaintance have a far finer skin regime and a greater appreciation for the effective application of concealer, foundation and make up .... never mind a far better fashion sense than MTG ......

I think what humblescribe was trying to say is if she were named Marlin, instead of Margorie, I could use the word gaff.

I don't even know what is going on with this, just stumbled into it, but I'll take this opportunity to note that Yiannopoulos has defending older adult men having sex with boys as young as thirteen. Not too sure how that fits in with mtg's agenda, I'm really at a loss on this one.
“So I have an intern that was raped by a priest as a young teen, was gay, has offended everyone at some point, turned his life back to Jesus and Church, and changed his life,” Marjorie Taylor Greene told The Daily Beast. “Great story!”

Someone please get in front of a camera and demand to know why she's hiring people who advocate pedophilia, grooming and child molestation.

And that is absolutely a legitimate question.

Maybe it is the expiration date?

It certainly isn't the "best before" date :batting:

I thought about the expiration date possibility too, but normal people probably wouldn't be bragging about getting a job for 2 months.

Why would an adult be taking the summer break position of an "intern" from a politically interested college student?

I don't think anyone would describe Yiannopoulos as "normal." Even Yiannopoulos.

I presume it is the expiration date as (1) August 5, 2022 (a Friday) is in the future; and (2) from a security standpoint, having a readily visible expiration date makes more sense than a readily visible start date.
