There is a really great youtuber called Coffeezilla that looks into some of the bigger pump and dumps. The amount of money involved in them can get pretty scary, esp if you include Tether, which currently has a market cap of around 66 billion but could very well simply be a scam getting ready to exit.

Speaking of crypto scams, State Senator Wendy Rogers would like them to relocate to AZ, since states like NY try to shut them down.

She is going against the advice of his Lardship Trump, who commanded Republicans to stay away from the 2022 elections to teach them a lesson.

The ever-klassy EmptyG: (what accounts for her foul temper? Steroids? :batting: )
Drama on the House floor developed when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene confronted Reps. Jamie Raskin and Liz Cheney as the House was voting on the criminal contempt resolution against Steve Bannon.

The conversation with Greene devolved to "Jewish space lasers" and the Georgia Republican accusing Raskin, a Maryland Democrat, of not investigating the violence of Black Lives Matter protests.
"This is a joke," Greene said in a raised voice to Raskin and Cheney, a Wyoming Republican, engaging in an altercation with the pair in the middle of the House floor.

Then Greene walked closer and said directly to Raskin, "Why don't you care about the American people?"

From what I understand, the fine is automatically deducted from the paycheck. No opportunity not to pay.

Yes, the fines come directly out of their pay, no option not to pay up. Greene is a repeat offender, that's why it is so high. She and a couple other wingnuts filed a lawsuit after the first $500 fine they received stating that the House mask mandate was unconstitutional back a few months ago, not sure where that went. Probably nowhere I would imagine.

I can't imagine her actually talking to a Democrat so if I were to give the benefit of the doubt that she is not just making shit up (which is the easiest and most plausible explanation), then she either talked to a few people who claimed they were democrats but are not, or she found something on the internet which was unsourced and completely bs.

My first guess is, of course, she's making shit up.
