A new Ryan Murphy ACS:

Edie Falco to Play Hillary Clinton in FX's 'Impeachment: American Crime Story'
MARCH 04, 2021 2:37pm PT by Rick Porter, Lesley Goldberg
The Emmy winner joins an A-list cast that also includes Sarah Paulson, Beanie Feldstein and Clive Owen.

FX's American Crime Story anthology has cast Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton in its next season, which covers the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. The multiple Emmy winner will join the A-list ensemble of Impeachment: American Crime Story, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Falco will star with Sarah Paulson (Linda Tripp), Beanie Feldstein (Monica Lewinsky), Clive Owen (Bill Clinton) and Annaleigh Ashford (Paula Jones) in the limited series. The cast also includes Betty Gilpin as right-wing pundit Ann Coulter and Billy Eichner as Matt Drudge.

Falco's deal to play the former first lady, New York senator and secretary of state has been in the works for months and recently closed. In 2019 FX chief John Landgraf told THR that Hillary Clinton would not be "one of the main characters" in the story. The casting of Falco, however, would seem to indicate otherwise. Impeachment is based on former New Yorker writer Jeffrey Toobin's book A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President. Executive producer Ryan Murphy optioned the book in 2017 with an eye toward making it part of the ACS anthology but later had second thoughts. The project gained new momentum when Lewinsky came aboard as a producer.

Sarah Burgess is writing and will executive produce with Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Brad Falchuk, Larry Karaszewski, Scott Alexander, Alexis Martin Woodall, Hannah Fidell, Paulson and Feldstein. Lewinsky, Henrietta Conrad and Jemima Khan are producers. Impeachment had initially been slated to premiere ahead of the 2020 election but was pushed back in part due to Murphy's schedule. A debut date for the series has yet to be announced.

That was my reaction! I'm not even 50 yet; why do TV producers think I want to relive scandals that happened when I was 25? Scandals that weren't even that important or interesting. After Trump, Slick Willie seems downright quaint. Hell, the idea of Arkansas voting for a Democrat is a remnant of a bygone era. Is that the appeal of it? Is the age of Rush Limbaugh the Good Old Days now? Ugh.

Agree about the miniseries, not interested in reliving the GOP's total hypocracy. Many of the witch hunters are still there which is nuts.

We still look at our HRC 2016 champagne glasses, we kept them... and think of all the good that could have happened instead of the disgraced loser's incompetence and ignorance. Really sorry it didn't work out for her but grateful for all she's done for America. She's earned her retirement, or if she wants to comment on something we're always willing to listen. That 2016 loss was one of the worst, most emotional ever for us, maybe second only to 9/11. Know folks have different opinions of HRC and totally respect that, but we'll always love and admire the Clintons. Under Bill Clinton we had our best economic years (it was also when the internet was taking off).

The bogus Post Millenial takes as Gospel bogus Democratic (Democrat in the illiterate story) analyst Dick Morris. Hillary is living rent free in their tiny little heads and they don't have room to spare. Putting this here as another PREDICTION by the GREAT Dick Morris. And guess who wrote it? Why, the Malaysian with no understanding of the US, Ian Miles Cheong (who deserves a topic, last week far right The Quartering called Ian out as a grifter, a fraud and a Swatter). This says Ian is in Montreal, who knows. The few times we engage, it about his cluelessness about America, or to ask why he's not focusing on Malaysian politics which actually affects him.

Hillary Clinton could run against Trump in 2024, say Democrat analysts
Former Bill Clinton advisor Dick Morris believes that America is in store for a rematch between former President Donald Trump and Democrat hopeful Hillary Clinton in 2024.
Ian Miles Cheong Montreal, QC January 17, 2022 10:50 PM

Former Bill Clinton advisor Dick Morris believes that America is in store for a rematch between former President Donald Trump and Democrat hopeful Hillary Clinton in 2024. In a conversation with WABC’s John Catsimatdis, Morris said Sunday that if Democrats lose control of Congress in the 2022 midterms, President Biden and VP Kamala Harris are done for – which would potentially open the door for a second bid for the presidency by Hillary Clinton, who won the Democratic nomination in 2016. "There’s a good chance of it,” said a confident Morris, who suggested that Bill Clinton could help her with strategy. “Hillary has set up a brilliant strategy that nobody else is able to do,” Morris added. “Knowing the people around her, I believe there is only one person capable of that level of thinking — and that’s her husband, Bill.”

“The second the election is over … every Democrat is going to take a shot at Biden and Harris. They will be DOA,” Morris said. Morris’ remarks come as Biden and his cohort fall out of favor with moderate Democrats and progressives alike – as well as Republicans. Clinton herself has taken a stance against progressives, warning the Democrats to keep the far left in line. ”She has set up a zero-sum game where the worse [Biden] does, the better she does, because she’s positioned herself as the Democratic alternative to Biden. Not just to Biden, but to the extreme left in the Democratic Party,” Morris said. “The person who staked out the turf first and owns the turf in the Democratic Party is going to be Hillary. It’s a brilliant, brilliant strategy?,” he added.

In a recent interview with MSNBC, Clinton said that Democrats must do “some careful thinking” about winning elections and not focus entirely on “deep-blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat, or so-called progressive Democrat, is going to win.” "She was right about that,” said Morris, referencing the interview. “She staked out a ground, not on ideological issues, but on pragmatism.” Clinton has become a firm critic of the Biden administration in recent weeks, pointing out his failure to pass legislation in a Democrat-run Congress. She noted that while she was “all about vigorous debate … at the end of the day, it means nothing if we don’t have a Congress that will get things done and we don’t have a White House that we can count on to be sane and sober and stable and productive.”

Beyond Morris, the Wall Street Journal has also pushed for a Hillary Clinton run in 2024, pointing out that the poor polling for both Biden and Harris created a void that only Clinton could fill. “She is already in an advantageous position to become the 2024 Democratic nominee,” wrote Democratic hawks Doug Schoen and Andrew Stein. “She is an experienced national figure who is younger than Mr. Biden and can offer a different approach from the disorganized and unpopular one the party is currently taking.”

Here's old toe sucking Dick with his 2012 Williard Romney Landslide prediction. Look how young Hannity et all look, its only 10 years ago.

Dick Morris Predicts 2012 GOP Victory
15,234 views Aug 6, 2012

And for a real flashback, here's when Dick resigned in 1996. This looks like AP b-roll footage, Dick's scandal came out right before the Convention. As Maurice Chevalier said, I Remember It Well.

USA: PRESIDENT CLINTON'S POLITICAL ADVISER DICK MORRIS RESIGNS
(29 Aug 1996) English/Nat

President Clinton's election campaign has been hit by a major scandal - his top political adviser resigned after a tabloid reported he had a relationship with a prostitute. Dick Morris handed in his resignation after The Star tabloid reported he allowed the prostitute to eavesdrop on calls to the White House. The resignation couldn't have come at a worse time for Clinton - just as he was preparing to address the Democratic convention in Chicago and accept his party's nomination. The New York Post published an account of a story from The Star, a tabloid based in Tarrytown in New York state. It said two days before the start of the Democratic convention, Morris had shown Sherry Rowlands copies of the speeches Hillary Rodham Clinton and Vice President Al Gore would deliver days later. The paper claimed that on another occasion - early in their relationship - Morris called the president and held out the telephone so Rowlands could hear Clinton. According to The Star, Rowlands was an 200 US dollars-an-hour escort when the affair started. Later she quit the escort service and started a home and office cleaning service.

So yeah, Dick is a real stable, reliable predictor. On the other hand, revving up the Trumpers would be funny, she's living in all their tiny heads too also.

I thought it might be cool to get that hat. It's $30 (okay, it's overpriced) but they say due to high demand they will not ship for 6-8 weeks. Hard pass.

As though an alien baby's age is measured in years. How improbable is that.

If its born on Earth, why wouldn't its age be measured in Earth Years.

Heck, if there were children born on various planets their age would probably be converted into local planetary rotations for convenience if they moved around.

Much like Liters are converted into US Galllons, and dates are converted into MM/DD/YYYY format for the one country on the planet that uses that format.

Yeah, in intergalactic civilization there has to be a standard "year" or the lawyers have too much fun.

How do we know that's a baby? It could be what its planet considers an old person.

Why the Clintons? There are billions and billions of people on this planet. Why them? Because of the presidency? Why haven't other aliens come for Laura Bush or Michelle Obama or Mrs. tfg?

Was this baby behind January 6? That could get a lot of people off the hook.

Is this baby Q?

This is the kind of skepticism you can expect from me.
