First, I appreciate your posts re: his docket. They are informative.

Ammon take a plea deal? Not on this planet.

I saw that and PRN dopes are petitioning Labrador to intervene. 50/50 odds, I say. Labrador is supported by Smith Network, so there's a debt to be paid. But, politics are politics and Labrador just might smite Bundy, perhaps out-living is usefulness, tired of his Prophet status.

ZinWhit, If you can ensure your safety then it might be worth attempting a meeting given that you know some very good questions to ask, but the chances of getting any truthful answers must be near zero. I do not see you as someone who would react well to Ammon’s likely holier than thou attitude / obfuscation / deflection, so the likelihood of a productive meeting are pretty much nil.
On the other hand, apart from Ammon’s belief in his righteousness I think he is easily shrewd enough to know you won’t be swayed by any of his antics and he is unlikely to attend any proposed meeting. Conversely, even if he did participate, whatever the results I do not doubt that he will be able to convince the vast majority of his “followers” of your bias and hatefulness.
If you can't lie to yourself, who can you lie to?

He obviously wants SOMETHING from the meeting. I imagine he will end it pretty fast if he feels he is not getting it.

Anyway, this is the letter I referenced above

My comment : I think the sentance "My only desire is to be left alone!" sums up the level of victimhood bullshit in this. If he was left alone and forgotten the guy would go insane. Plus, if he actually wanted that, all he would have to do is "STOP BREAKING THE LAW, ASSHOLE!"

G-d is making him do it to protect our freedoms, and we should be grateful for that because tyranny. It takes about 3,500 words to convey how much he's needed, how much he suffers, and how he doesn't want none of your consequences.

I was wrong.

Curious the impact on acolytes' views of "principled standing."

Also, it was said a plea deal was offered by the prosecution last week. A peace offering....

Now, on to the civil case.

"So, with all of this going on, yesterday I made a peace offering to St. Luke's executives and settled the CRIMINAL case outside of court. Agreeing to a fine and a suspended sentence of 90 days jail. I have never done this before and it is certainly not my style. I prayed and pondered about this move for many days. I did not purger myself and keep this agreement within the moral boundaries that all of us must live by as children of God. This was not an act in fear or desperation. This agreement will become official on Monday, so I will not be having a trial anymore. There is no need for people to come to the court-house to support me in trial any longer. Thank you so very much! Now be aware, the judge could reject the agreement and force me to trial, but that is extremely rare and would make her (Judge Annie McDevitt) look even more like the prejudiced judge she is. "

So, "peace offering" = plea deal, right?

Or is that out the window if he pled guilty?

Or is he offering the chance to give him a low sentance so they wont have to face his mighty muscles?

In that case, "Peace offering" = Threat.

IMV, peace offering to St. Luke's to drop the civil case.

Yes. Still a threat, peace as though war has been waged, of course not seeing himself as the aggressor/ transgressor.

I still hope the understaffed IRS and fully staffed DOJ have something in the works.

Edit: why would St. Luke's- or anyone - think he'd stop his war, anyway?

I guess St. Luke's has nothing to do with it. The prosecutor is a special prosecutor assigned from an adjacent county by the Court. I know nothing about this special prosecutor (not even their name). It is this person that offered Ammo a deal. Ammo is getting a LOT of blowback from poots about potentially pleading guilty or no contest. We shall see what he does on Monday (he hasn't entered a plea yet - just been shitposting about maybe doing that).

Beautiful.

He's finally caught between serving his family and his acolytes.

Which will he choose?

Update on ammo from the Idaho Dispatch.

:snippity:
Bundy agreed to plead guilty to trespassing with the following penalties: a $1,000 fine ($500 suspended), 90 day jail sentence (89 suspended plus credit for one day served at the time of arrest), and probation.

McCurdy told Judge McDevitt that St. Luke’s was unsatisfied with that offer. Judge McDevitt commented,

“I’ll acknowledge this is a tough one.”

McDevitt then rejected the plea agreement, and ruled that the trial will move forward as scheduled. At that point, Topmiller requested to approach the bench. Bundy and McCurdy joined. Discussion ensued and eventually the judge retired to chambers to consider the additional arguments.

When the Judge returned, additional arguments and discussion occurred between all parties. Eventually an agreement was reached: Bundy would plead guilty to Trespass. He will be fined $1,000 plus $157.50 in court costs. Suspended fine $0.00. He is sentenced to 90 days jail time, credited for 12 days and 78 days suspended (will not return to jail). He is sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation.

He will go to jail if he doesn't behave himself while on probation. I looked at the docket at it looks like the Judge warned him about that.
