Ballad of Cat Ballou - Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye

Great compilation of the music from the movie, if you haven't seen the movie this *might* be spoilerish. But, if you haven't seen the movie, what are you waiting for?

I am Lucky Luke ;)

There's Stubby Kaye again -- Kendra, can you cash a little check? :P

Didn't watch the show often, but when I hear this song it's stuck for hours.

This really should be Roodles' (Rudy Guliani) theme song, played before each of his appearances, as the opening of his "America's Mayor" show and as underscoring when he is speaking. Doesn't it just feel right?

Oh my yes! My stepdaughter was in orchestra and this was their finale every year. The kids got to dress as pirates, for the last number only, and they loved it.

Also too, Game of Thrones theme.

My Crested Yorkie, Gilda and her amazing hair.

My youngest daughter played violin in middle school and they also played a Pirates medley for their concert. She bought me the CD on a Disneyland trip with her bestie because she knew how much I loved the music.

It should. Sanford and Son was a direct 'adaptation' of Steptoe and Son.

I watched the pilot episode yesterday (it's on Prime Video). Don't know if I ever saw it, but if I did I forgot this little cameo appearance at the end:
Farrah Fawcett: According to the E! True Hollywood Story (1996) biography of Lee Majors, Farrah Fawcett made an appearance in the pilot, against the advice of her friends and manager. Lee and Farrah had just completed a messy tabloid-ridden divorce. She appeared on the show to show the public that they were separating on good terms.

Fav. Millions of kids were able to sing this entire thing unprompted without knowing what a structured settlement was:

Insane. I've heard that they play this over and over with no break in Hell. Turns out the lady is a MAGA. Watch how not only she, but the background singers too, give rainbow hands on the name of the product. The happy postman with the side effects warning is amusing.

I HATE both of those commercials. If the remote is close enough, I hit mute or change the channel.
