Renamed the thread, this was about links not opening to a new tab, but it was fixed long ago.

Also I am going to merge other threads into this one if they're about problems that are already fixed.

Foggy, on your to do list could change the behavior on links to open in a new tab? Right now they open in the same tab and you cannot go back to the Fogbow using the back button. Oh and please create a subforum for reporting problems if that's what we had before.

I had the same problem yesterday with the tab, but I think I was able to use the back button to get back.

I added the extension "External links open in new window (or tab, as the case may be). You can change the setting in User Control Panel --> Board Preferences (at the bottom of the page).

Done, thank you! I thought that was a setting before but I couldn't find it.

Yes, I had to do that. In Firefox I went to history and cleared the last hour. That did the trick.

Problems which have already been fixed

When I try to open the normal "https" version of the forum I get a "Cannot establish a secure connection to the server" error. The "http" version works. It just started this morning. I am using Windows and Firefox.

I got it to come up in Chrome if I deleted the s in https. For whatever that's worth.

Yes, that's what I did. That switches you from using the secure version where traffic is encrypted to the unsecured version. My guess is that it is related to the change in hosting companies and something to do with the security certificate. It is no big deal for the short term since you are not putting stuff like credit card data in the traffic and it is a public forum anyway.

I'm in on the unsecure (http://) but then that keeps randomly logging me out.

It's been intermittent for me, FWIW. I just connected on HTTPS and browsed a few threads, then it couldn't connect again and I had to drop back to HTTP.
