He didn’t move a whisker until he was almost upon it. Wow.

That video is really weird. The water completely stops moving during the slow-motion part of the video (from when he jumps until he lands.) Its not just moving slower like the Lynx is, it's stopped all together...

The water is moving bit really, really slow. I had to fix in a spot or 2 to notice the change.

I'll have to take your word for it - I still can't see it of course, my vision isn't great so that may be part of the problem

Maybenaut, what a cool pic!! Does the seal do tricks? Are they negotiating right of way?
And now for something completely different: baby baked potatoes with legs jailbreak!
Agree Maybenaut’s photos are way cool. I lov d the little potato pups too! Too cute.

I think all 9 survived infancy and sibling rivalry. Kudos to mom.

I can't tell what they are. Anyone know?
Bald eagles are notorious for the second smaller chick being outmuscled by the first. I was watching one nest where everyone had given up on the second. It wasn't getting fed anymore and was failing to thrive as they say. At that time, a parent brought back a solid meal and chick 1 was about to tuck in when chick 2, quick as a blink, nipped around the bigger one, grabbed it or a big chunk of it, and gobbled up. He did well after that and fledged.

That was really interesting and I was thinking how cool something like that would for parents to be able to share with their kids, you know, showing them what was happening inside the birdhouse (that maybe the kids even helped build) in their backyard.

I think it was a chickadee. I sent the video to my gurlzz and to friends who have grandkids.
