Ya, even in the past week I've gotten 3 messages on facebook, either attempts to message me or replying to a message I've posted, from pictures of very attractive young women.

This is quite apart from the endless spam I'm getting from a dating side where I created an account didn't pay the fee yet.

Just the kind of scam crazy trumpers would fall for.* Not so much crypto, but my friend, well, more of a friend of a friend, who isn't tech savvy at all, was sending gift cards. That's when I learned that there are web sites that will cash** your unused gift cards for pennies on the dollar and all you have to do is give them the acct # and PIN on the card, or, in her case, take a photo of the card and send it to your boo.

The cards with the best buy back ratio are Apple and Steam. They ask for those specifically. I had a hard time with the friend, who just knew her boyfriend was a service guy stationed in the Middle East. I told her to ask him to send her a photo of him holding up a sign with her name and today's date. Of course, it never happened and she finally woke up,*** but she was out over $1,000.

It's like what Mark Twain said (or was said to have said) It's easier to con someone than convince them they've been conned.

*The last time I was at a Walmart service desk, they had a big sign telling people NOT to buy gift cards for people you've never met.

**Deposit the funds in your Paypal, Venmo, etc acct.

***Cuz being woke is a good thing.

Yeah, I don't get it. I swear half of Twitter is fake, but the tfg cult loves all the fake accounts that agree with them. I can guess the ratio of fake to true believer.

SCOTUS has a pending election case on its calendar after the summer break

Where in the Constitution does it say that SCOTUS gets to "suspend" an election What would that even mean - the Electoral College has voted, Congress has counted and acknowledged the winner, the winner was sworn in (by the head of SCOTUS, no other). The election process 2020 was completed!

And where did this guy get the brain fart that the former guy would take over for 6 (six) years? Finish the term of Biden and then tuck on his own wet dream of a four year term Hint: the Constitution has defined successors in case POTUS needs a successor. Will someone tell him he will have President Pelosi in the WH, please.
